The Passbook. sewfie2, I know you had it too, so help me out!!

The winner of the siggy challenge was contacted by the previous months winner to get where to send it. You received a journal with an entry from all the past winners as well as a small gift. The gift was something small. I received these awesome nail covers. I sent out a bag of dumdum pops. (because in the IF world, we should get a pop for all those shots and doctors visits.

The journal was amazing. It was each woman's story. Her struggles, where she has been and where she is heading in this journey. It was such an amazing an beautiful thing!! I wouldn't mind starting it.

If I remember correctly, didn't runcici start it??

ginnyjones82, I had my reply sitting too long! Meetings I do think runcici started the Passbook, though I could be wrong. I do remember the winners were chosen at random in the siggy challenge thread. Dumdum pops-brilliant! I got a cool sugar-texture nail polish. I think reading everyone's stories really helps (general) you feel not so alone in all of this.

Quick question as I am new to siggy challenges since we have moved here (surprisingly proboards isn't blocked at work!)

Is it bad forum etiquette to participate in siggy challenge here and with my BMB?

So I went ahead and assumed that things you miss most will be the winner!!!

I thought of what I miss most.... beer, wine, jello shots!!! Sushi?? Or... a freaking Italian Mix Sub!!! With all the deli meats!! And of course cheese and oil and everything!!!

ETA: I can pick up a journal today to start the passbook if everyone is down with that!!!

ginnyjones82, I will eat deli meat from time to time, including an italian sub...I just have it toasted at Firehouse Subs:) You are more likely to get listeria from cantaloupe or apples these days...

IFinTN, DH feels better if I don't. And it was one of the first things the nurse mentioned. Of course that didn't stop me from taking a bite from the one DH had after I said I was craving it!! Isn't he nice!

AFM, I sat down and thought long and hard about it and was shocked to realize, it's not wine, it's not paté, it really is sushi. (Specifically, the hole-in-the-wall place across the street from us where the chef makes piece by piece for you right at the counter. It is AMAZING.)

bostongirl617 I haven't been super strict since most cheeses in US are pasteurized...but every year at Xmas my aunt gets this AMAZING brie that is not and I just wanted to eat it all - that is first thing I'm going for after I pop this kid out - a huge chunk of brie on my back deck with a glass of wine

I made the AMAZING discovery this weekend that Epoisses sold in the U.S. is pasteurized.  I had never even realized, because traditionally it's only raw milk.  It was literally the highlight of my weekend.  Just thought you should know
