1. It's Tuesday! We did 1 million things today after work. Petco, JoAnn Fabrics, Indian food for dinner, grocery store, cleaned out the fridge and worked out. Woohoo! See, 1 million. I counted.
2. I have told Sweetie that we'll have the Kid Talk on her terms, since she's the cautious one. So, I've been ever so quiet about it. I'll give her until Spring Break to bring it up, before I give her a little nudge.
3. Still haven't ordered my BBT thermometer. Mostly because I know once I'm temping and charting, I'll be at the next level of excited and impatient.
4. That reminds me, today I asked a kid how he was feeling and he wrote back: "I am sick because I have the thermometer." It was the most cogent thing that kiddo has communicated to me in a long time. It was hard not to laugh.
5. Ugh. Sometimes I lay down too soon after taking my nighttime pills and then it feels like they get stuck in my esophagus and then I'm all belchy and miserable. Ugh.
6. State testing starts tomorrow. Woohoo.
7. We continue to plod our way through the kitty adventure (trying to get our two kitties to get along). Today we bought some Feliway spray that's supposed to be calming for them. We'll see, I guess.
8. I'm feeling so heartbroken for kh826 and her family. I'm sorry for your loss. I work with children with significant physical and cognitive disabilities, and I know that some of my kiddos won't have long lifespans. It's sad for me and my staff, and it must be unbearable for families, at times. My heart and thoughts go out to you.
9. I'm also thinking of amberreva, who is hopefully having some exciting, but not too exciting times!!
10. It's my bedtime now. I have to put my laptop away, then farm on my phone, then put my phone away, then read on my kindle, then put my kindle away. It's a process. A very privileged process.
