Completely. Now tell us more about this ice cream (so I can live vicariously through you)....
I have many choices. Mint ice cream sandwich, caramel pretzel ice cream bar (with vanilla ice cream and covered in chocolate), and also three varieties of regular ice cream, which I would drown in caramel and chocolate sauce. Maybe I should sample everything.

I'm not drinking. My head is killing me, DH is dealing with bedtime, and I may get me some ice cream after the Smudge is in bed. Mmm ice cream
My headache went away after two shots of whiskey. Just sayin'.
I have no booze in the house, except a teeny bottle of gumball sourpuss. I've taken lots of Tylenol. I'm pretty sure sleep is the only thing that will help. The worst part is, it's my own damn fault. I shouldn't have had coffee so many times last week
:humblebrag: I make the GREATEST margaritas. Sometimes my fiance and I do "Giant Hot Wing and Ultimate Margarita Night" on Sunday nights. Sometimes, no one goes to work on Monday.
We are the okayest Margarita makers! Feel free to send me your recipes
I never measure because we make them in large quantities and taste as we go (we always have our favorite couple friends over for Giant Hot Wing and Ultimate Margarita Night), but what makes them great is: extra (good) tequila, grand marnier, a little bit of OJ, and fresh squeezed limes.

Ooooh, yeah, you are definitely convincing me I'll have to run out for it, but I'm picking my partner up from work, which is right next to a grocery store. So, yeah... this is happening.

We always throw in fresh or frozen fruit, tequila, Margarita mix and juice if we have it. I'll have to try it your way! I don't know for some reason they never come out tasting awesome but that doesn't stop me from drinking them!
I just got a "I'm sorry your opinion is what it is" apology. Yay. Love those.
Update: OP responded.
"if you feel sharing an opportunity to watch a documentary for free about vaccinations for our children is inappropriate for a MOMS CHAT, I find that really peculiar. What is okay? Only non-controversial topics, or only things you think you agree with?
No mom is being told to change or that she's bad for vaccinating - where are you getting that drama from? The only thing asked is to keep an open mind. Which in this vaccine debate, is often sorely lacking. People get very emotional and shut down. I was hoping to promote openness, not anger.
The text of the post is the film description, as already pointed out. Written that way so that if anyone was interested in looking into WHAT is going into they're children based on that description, they can click through.
I don't have any financial or emotional stake - just sharing an opportunity to possibly learn. I respect the moms here and wanted to share what I feel is genuinely important - our children's health.
Please don't take whatever it is you need to get out on -----, who asked you honest questions to your "offense." Take it out on me if it will make you feel better xx"

I am proud of you recognizing and feeding the need.
I might be there too. Three glasses of wine during the TWW might not be the greatest of choices, but 1) I have a very high tolerance for wine, and 2) it was that kind of day, and 3) CD1 is probably showing up tomorrow anyway. But all I can think of is that judgy girl from the other day who hates when you drink while TTC. I should probably just go to bed because I obviously still hate everyone today.
So I have no wine but I have ben&jerry's chocolate therapy. Still want wine.
Doesn't your visitor have vodka, though? Drink the vodka!
Yes he does. My Vodka and he is finishing it. I need to have a better liquor cabinet. I have bourbon. What can you mix with that? I use is for my candied sweet potatoes never really drank it.

Swap the margarita mix for lime juice and triple sec.

Coke, ginger ale, tea & honey. Or just do a couple of shots.

Oh please no. Tell me she did not end that with two kisses. All cutesy and the like.

How do you know when you should get your eyes checked? I haven't had mine checked since I was in grade school. Is there a protocol that I'm supposed to know? Am I supposed to be getting them checked?
My doctor seemed confused when I said I hadn't had my eyes checked in 20 years, but he didn't really say much else.
Can you see road signs when you're driving? I've had contacts since I was in the 3rd grade and glasses since I was in 1st grade, but since I've been an adult this is always the test that I use. If I notice that I have trouble seeing road signs, then I go get checked again.
FWIW, my fiance is 31 and hasn't had his eyes checked ever. Like, ever. Some people are just blessed, I guess?

Sparkly that lady sounds like a fucking moron. There is no vaccine "debate". There are people who understand basic immunology and want their children vaccinated for diseases that could make them very ill, and there are idiots who heard somewhere from some random source that vaccines might do something or another or might be bad in some form or fashion and they took it as gospel.
(This does not apply to people with allergies or other extenuating circumstances, etc.)
