Lurky-Loo here, but anyone have issues with placement after baby? I used a diva 2 after baby 1 and it was way too long for me. I got a lunette 1 and the length was right, but I leaked a little. I thought maybe it was too small. I purchased a lunette 2 and just got my first pp period last month after baby 2. It leaked a ton and there were actually times it slipped all the way down - like it was going fall out. Do I just need to do more kegels and squats? Just a positioning issue? Things changed because I had another baby?

Maybe weird placement with your cervix? TMI but I'm pregnant right now and I know my cervix is way lower than when I'm on my period. Not sure when it'll go back to its normal spot.
I've used a diva cup since just before I got PG with DS1. I love it for the most part, and I'll never go back. I did have to cut the stem off which I read a lot of people say when I was reading up about it before my purchase.
That said, mine does leak a little (no more than a panty liner), and slides down if I'm walking a lot. Maybe I need to do more kegels, but I might try a different brand when I decide to replace this one. I replace every 8 hours or so the first day, and leak a liitle more the first day. The rest of the time, I change it every 12 hours.
I definitely think the recommendation to replace yearly is unnecessarily conservative. I have never replaced mine after owning it for 6 years and using it for about 2 of those. (I didn't get my PP period for 18 months both times.)

I've been using divacups since 2008. I have a major problem with the fit now... same as ireland05 - sliding down if I'm walking a lot.
I also got an IUD for birth control after having my baby, and the flow is CRAZY the first day of my period (needing to empty every hour or so, where before I could go maybe 4 or 5 hrs).
Very sad that it doesn't seem to be working for me anymore as I'd been so happy with it before having a baby!

By way too long do you just mean that the little stem was poking you? I had that issue before I had my daughter and I just trimmed off a bit of the stem with scissors and that helped. It wasn't any hard to insert/remove without the stem...

I JUST got one and tried it the last day or two of my current cycle and so far so good! I'm nervous about starting with it next time, but I think I'm going to love it!!!

Oh for those of you having fit issues, I know some women flip the diva cup inside out. It makes the brim go out a bit wider, is still rigid, but maybe a little more difficult to get out.

No, I trimmed the stem but it was still too long for me. I'm 'short' I guess
The Instead Softcups? I used those for a few months before I got my Diva, they're not bad.
plus you can have sex while you're using one, unlike other cups (I never tried because period + sex = DNW).
You can? This. changes. everything.
To be clear I'm talking about the Softcups, not the Diva! The Softcups are positioned differently - the Diva sits in the vaginal canal where the Softcups are near the cervical opening and out of the way for Peen.
I've been wanting to try the soft cuos but I'm to sure they would work for me. My cervix gets so low that I don't think I could get it in there, I'm wondering if it's the reason my diva cup leaks after DS2. Someone tell my cervix to act right.
Are there other brands that anyone likes more than diva?
I like the lunette. If you know that you are long/short or skinny/wide based off the fit of your current cup I know there is a live journal somewhere about the diameters and lengths of all the cups. Knowing that my Diva 2 was too long, I went with the Lunette.
