You've all gotten to me too! I went to BRU this morning and they don't carry these..but I can order one to my house and have it by Monday. Now, how do I convince DH that LO needs this when he said no more baby things that take up a lot of space?

It folds up!
Okay, good point! I'm already planning my arguments...the play mat doesn't let her work on neck control and she's too little for the bumbo yet. Plus we've been given 90% of the baby stuff we have and have a gift card. Do you think he'll be convinced? ;-)
@nursesouder thank you SO MUCH for posting this! I had never heard of these before. Got one today and my previously cranky child was in heaven, able to sit up and "play" with her siblings. Bless you, woman. Bless you.
I have a Bumbo and I have been putting LO in it and he loves to sit up and look around... he is 3 months now.. if I got one now would he get some use out of it or is the bumbo good enough... also we started putting him in the bouncy seat... I just don't want to buy one if what he already has is good enough...let me know what you ladies think!
babyw15 we had a bumbo too but he was always slumped over or to the side. This think he stays up all on his own. If the bumbo works for him then it's probably not going to make a difference other than this has toys that attach to it.
Tried using a blanket to help, but still lopsided and if he was in it for a few he would fall over more.
Sits like this for about 45 minutes before he wants to do something different. (He loves our little doxie!)
babyw15 F was also slumping over in the bumbo and her head wasn't supported so I decided to buy one. She likes this much better and I like that there are toys to help develop her hand eye coordination and motor skills. Is it a necessity? No. But if it keeps her content while i clean, cook and eat then I think it's worth it. We also use the tray to prop up board books in front of her and she loves that.
heidih21, Thanks for the pictures so I can show DH. He says we probably dont need one but now that you explained it and showed pics it is easier to see that we do need one.
heidih21, I just talked to DH on the phone and told him about the pictures and he said whatever you think is best! Well guess who will be ordering one!
I'm not sure where you are at but walmart had them the cheapest and I think target was next. Toys r us was way more! But walmart didn't have all the color options
heidih21, I am going to Walmart after work.. I checked online and it says that the store I am going to has them in stock....we will see what ones they have!
Dh told me I keep talking about it, so I might as well just order one. I hate Walmart, but they have it the cheapest, so I'll just have to bite the bullet.

My mom recieved a gift card for toys r us as a gift and I got a coupon for toys r us so dh says I can order it! Or just go to the store but that's dangerous... I used the reasoning that she should sit up after feeding (she spits up and vomits quite often) and this would be a good way she can do that and still play like she demands. I can't wait!
I bought it last night on Target website.. I got the fish one and it should be here by Friday I am so excited to put LO in it... he hates laying down if he isn't tired. So yesterday while I was getting everything ready to leave for our family day out I had to put him in his bumbo and he just looked so damn uncomfortable in it and I said to DH I am buying that sit me up seat tonight!! Love buying new things for LO
@bkmama may I ask what toy that is your LO is playing with in her hand? Does it light up? (or was I seeing things) my LO is into lights right now and that toy is cute
Ok, I think you guys finally convinced me that we NEED this, but I'm worried she'll grow out of it soon. She's 10 lbs from the limit - those with bigger babies - so you feel you'll still get a lot of use out of the seat? I like the idea of her sitting upright and that this folds flat, but don't want to spend $40 on something she'll use for 2 weeks lol
I have the frog one and the weight limit is 25 lbs. My 2nd LO was really chubby and didn't reach 25 lbs until after she was 1 yr old. I'm guessing this seat will only be used up until 6 mo or so. After that when baby can sit up solo, he'll want to be able to move around and not be confined

Maybe I'll look for a used one since my lo is about as big as yours...
Guess what came in the mail yesterday!!!!! I think I was more excited about this then I should have been...LO loves it!! It is a hit. DH said we are running out of room to put things....LOL it is true, we have to many things, but hey whatever LO needs he will get!
