So many hugs to everyone right now. And mimosas for breakfast.
B did well during the night but I had a dream that I was being hunted and had to tell her goodbye, never to see her again. I was pretty worked up and wired afterwards. That was at 1.
Then Milo was up and down from our bed. Then I had to check on B just to make sure. Then one of her toys started "Wheeeee!!!!" ing downstairs and I'm convinced we have a ghost or something. It has a motion sensor and Milo was upstairs at the time.
My MIL flies home today and I'm getting my hair done. I'm going to try out balyage and I have a Stitch Fix arriving today. Expect lots of pics.
bsmithmi I hope Nolan feels better soon and you guys get some rest today.
finnaroo that is a really scary dream. I hate when toys start making noise in the middle of the night. I'm convinced its ghosts and MH thinks I'm crazy.
V was up at 5 but has been relatively pleasant. We have our 8 hour drive home tomorrow so I'm hoping she wears herself out today playing with her cousins.
Heading out to running group in a few. Everyone is congested so I can hear faint snoring from either end of the house where DH and C are still sleeping. Hopefully my Advil Sinus will kick in before we start running.
Hugs and coffee to all the sleepy mamas. At least your kids are ready to spring forward??
Can I just reiterate how happy I am that we don't "do" DST?
Little guy was up at 520. Why doesn't he understand that it's the weekend and his KU mama wants rest?! We are going to the gym so I can do spin and hopefully a quick arm workout and then sushi tonight! (Family sushi- not date night) but still fun! I'm going to try and convince DH to go to the "far" sushi place because it's near the outlet mall
JoeLies hopefully your Advil sinus kicks in! I'm jealous of your run. I can't even do a mile without walking or stopping to pee. It makes things difficult How many miles are you guys Doug today?
Good morning. Hugs to all of the mamas with sick babies and hugs to all of the sick mamas too. I hope you can still enjoy your run, JoeLies.
E is now officially boycotting her high chair. We thought it was just because she was tired and cranky last night, but same thing this morning. She sat on DH's lap last night to eat and is standing next to the coffee table today.
Last night was the worst. E hit her head on non-carpeted stairs. She has a long (it isn't your typical round bump because of where she hit the stair) and nasty bump, but she only cried for 3-4 minutes and was her normal self after that. It was because of poor communication and I thought she was being watched so I left the room. We called a nurse and she said that as long as she was acting normal and her pupils were normal that we didn't have to bring her in. I told DH that he needed to find a new wife and mom for E because I felt so guilty and didn't deserve to be her mom. If I knew she wasn't being watched, I would have never left the room. I think the last month and a half finally got to me and I was so irritated with my body too. I know that kids fall and get hurt and I can't protect her from everything, but she's my baby.
She seems to be doing just fine today and the bump has gone down some. She has been playing all morning and I am feeling a little less guilty.
I think I might need a vacation from reality for a while.
Today I get to see what it's like to be a pageant/cheer mom. I have to get my niece ready and take her to the event. And then a late lunch for one of DH's friend's 30th bday.
So sorry to all those with sleeping issues. Hope you all are able to get some rest today!
weasleymom big hugs. You have been going through a lot lately and it's bound to take a toll on you. But you are doing a great job handling it all. Accidents happen and kids fall alot. And we can't always be right there to catch them or keep them from hurting themselves. Yesterday S was standing up swinging a cabinet door while I was standing right next to her preparing dinner and she fell, in the process smeared down the corner of the cabinet and has a huge scratch down her face. So even when we are right there it is bound to happen.
Thanks. I am glad that S is okay other than a scratch. Why can't the sell toddler bubbles on Amazon? I bet they would make a fortune!
How is S feeling overall? Have her meds helped with the seizures at all?
weasleymom hugs. If it makes you feel any better, we've had the same thing happen. DH thought I was watching her. I told him I was going to the bathroom, but he didn't hear me. She climbed up the stairs without him seeing (he was in the same room but he was doing work stuff on his phone) and toppled down the last couple. She was fine but we both felt like the worst parents in the world. It happens.

K just woke me up excited because he deposited a bunch of money into my account that he was waiting On. He wants me to go get my tattoo finished today. .
lfigge, that is great news!!! I hope the appointment goes really well. I was just thinking about you the other day and wondering how you guys were doing.
E hasn't had any more episodes. She went in for her 15 month well check and usually the pediatrician doesn't recommend giving Tylenol before the shots but with E she did. We had to give her a dose every 4 hours for 24 hours to prevent a fever spike.

Ugh, so sorry to all those with sick babies and babies who won't sleep. It's the worst. I hope tonight is much better.
@cherhoriwitz have fun! I'm so jealous. I want to be at Disney right now.
weasleymom sorry about E! You're not alone in that department though. Last nigh DS tripped and fell over one of his toys and crashed into the fireplace. He cut his eye and has a big bruise. I feel awful too but don't beat yourself up over it.
finnaroo, I am glad that she was okay. We went out and bought a second walk through gate after it happened so we could block off the kitchen so it she can't sneak in there and get near those stairs again.
I swear these children are so quick and sneaky it's crazy!
margaerytyrell, oh no! I hope he heals quickly. I am feeling a lot better today and I think the whole thing hurt me more than E. I cried longer than she did, haha.

Morning all! Dh didn't have to work this morning so he got up with the kids and made breakfast! He made dutch babies (which are like swedish pancakes) and we eat them with powdered sugar and lemon. Instead of the powdered sugar though, he grabbed the cornstarch (they are both in LABELED mason jars) and I got a big mouthful of cornstarch. Gross. But once we fixed that, breakfast was delicious!
We ordered the kids one of those big backyard discovery swing sets and Dh is going to go pick it up and attempt to start putting it together. I'm trying to work up the motivation to go to the gym.
finnaroo I hate dreams like that, they are the worst!!!
