We're planning a backyard party (assuming the snow melts by then!). Just immediate family and some friends. I think we're doing a bubble guppies theme, since she's obsessed! I think we are going to do late afternoon (post nap), so just snacks and cake.
Im doing a Choo Choo hes 2 theme. hee hee In the process of designing the invites now.. I keep asking myself why do I feel like I need to do all this? haha I am not that artistic. haha Ill prob make my own cakes this time too. Maybe after this year Ill stop feeling like I have to be super mom. haha

Well I had the ideas of Two sweet theme and Tutu theme but in the end just decided to a minnie mouse party. We are renting a pavilion at our city park and will have family come and there is a big playground for everyone to play and other things. I already have her outfit, I really need to reserve the pavilion (our date is still open thankfully) and maybe order invites.
We are taking DS to Disney World 1 1/2 weeks before his birthday, so I'm trying to say that is his party! In reality, we'll probably have family and neighbors over for cake, but it will be very low-key compared to last year.
No specific plans yet but I am hoping we can travel to NY (where both our families are). That's what we did last year and it was so nice to celebrate LO's birthday with family. She was conveniently born right before Memorial Day weekend so it works out travel-wise.

We're having a Curious George birthday party at home and *hopefully* a lot of fun activities in the backyard. It will be mostly family, my friends kids, and a few kids from his group at church. Very low key.
We haven't decided how big we're going; I'd like to have my parents and a few friends. I thought about inviting his daycare buddies, but I honestly don't want a houseful of strangers and we can't afford a venue so I think that's a no go. We're going to do a Despicable Me theme since he's still minion crazy, so I may send a theme treat to school with him and an activity of some sort (coloring pages, or stickers).

(Waves hello). Probably nothing here. I'll be 38 weeks and change the weekend of their second birthday. Even if that weren't the case, probably just cake and some presents with a few family members. (That's what we did last year.)
We are having family disney day at WDW and then just some cake when we get home. We spent way too much money on a party last year and DS wasn't really happy the whole day. He loves Disney, so hopefully this year will be a better.
We're hiring a balloon artist who also tells a story with a puppet and just having hamburgers, hot dogs and snacks. I'll decorate with lots of balloons.
Well, I happened to catch Bud's lead teacher yesterday at pick up and asked about birthday treats - I mainly wanted to know if homemade goodies were OK with the staff/other parents (they are), but she shared other tidbits, so I was glad I asked. Apparently most of the kids don't like the frosting, and the full sized cupcakes the parents are sending in are too big. The teachers are in the habit of scraping off the frosting and cutting the cupcakes in half to get the kids to eat them. Glad I found that out before I wasted my time on my pinterest minion cupcakes. Cookies are usually a hit, so I'm either going to do simple sugar cookies, or send in blueberry muffins (Bud loves them).
