Does anyone lurk on TTGP? I was thinking of intro'ing there since I'm starting to lurk there more, but I don't remember what the house rules are. Specifically, regarding ticker/siggy warnings and mentioning DS. Is it all fair game over there for the most part?
Ttgp is over here now, right?

Yes, TTGP over here. I think it's called Gettin' Knocked Up. So... GKU is the new TTGP.

I do. Rules are to lurk, read noob page because those are their guidlines, never ever hint at am I pregnant and intro. They area huge board, there is snark bit you can't get better info anywhere else. They are blunt, honest and knowledgeable. They just don't want to be your personal google and you have to give support to get it. Now there are quite a few with 3T there, but no, generally you don't need ticker warnings. Some posts you may want trigger warnings though.
JoeLies Really?! How fun. You should watch Pitch Perfect. I don't know how accurate it is, but it's a good movie, IMO. I have probably the world's worst singing voice so I live vicariously through it.
@mothereffer I'm always cold, too. DH jokes that I am cold-blooded...today I was driving around with my heated seats on while wearing a fur vest, and I thought to myself, "this must be what it feels like to be warm-blooded." I wish my sofa had heated seats.
I didn't realize the watch was on a gun (color me unobservant)...I was too busy trying to figure out what kind of watch it is. I like it! Looks like a Breitling? They are nice...DH has their one for aviators.

It is a Breitling. It is a nice watch. Its just not my picture. Act right, Proboards.

rebeccag428 I wish I was at your park this afternoon! Ours had unsurpervised children, dogs and lots of uncovered mouth coughing. We were there for maybe 30 minutes and I saw a little boy get kicked in the face from a little girl on the swings and the mother waited until he hit the ground screaming to even get up and go over to him and a little boy Cadence's age threw a rock at a lady and the mother actually said, "Good throw!" WTF? We didn't stay very long because all of the above and because Cadence has a strange desire to eat rocks. She may be on My Strange Addiction one day. (No, I don't actually let her eat rocks.)
ETA: I don't have a problem with dogs at parks, but when they legit look super uncomfortable around THAT many children and so much chaos, it probably isn't a good idea to bring them....or at least to have them in the playground area.

@lizinfl Jimmy is def. making the episode more interesting. That one girl (Jillian) needs better shorts because her ass gets black boxed every episode.

I think I have De Quervain syndrome in my right wrist. It's also known as Mommy Thumb. I've been wearing a wrist brace for about 2 months after I thought I sprained it, but the pain never went away totally. I may finally get to see my doctor on Thursday, in which case I may finally get to a specialist. #giantbabyproblems. (It's taken 2 months because I lost my military id, and every time I had an appointment to go get it Doug got sick and I had to take him to the doctor instead, and now have to take care of some bills from all that. Babies make life difficult)
I am currently wearing two pairs of socks, pajamas, DHs sweater, and lying under 3 blankets. Still cold. Thermostat set to 70.
I am complainy pants.
I am exactly the same, well, minus the socks. I would love for my house to be 85° all the time. Would a cup of hot tea help?
I sleep with the window open and the fan on, with nothing but shorts and a Tshirt. When baby girl was sleeping in our room, and we had to keep the room warm, I thought I was going to die. I. Hate. The. Heat.
San Diego at night during this time of year mid 50ds. So not that cold. We love it!

kamakaziartist that is sad. But when I first opened the thread it opened right to your post and I saw my name and for a hot second thought I was getting called out for something! I literally racked my brain for a second while I tired to think if I'd said something to stir up shit!

I have struggled with this since before S was born but didn't have it diagnosed until about 2 months after she was born. Got a shot and it helped for a bit- but have had it return - dr suggested surgery as a fix but I am putting it off because I can't even imagine trying to recover from it with a toddler... Especially one who doesn't walk yet. So I have sucked it up and am dealing with it for now. I hope you can get into the specialist soon and hopefully get a shot to help!
+1 I got 1 shot and it helped A LOT! But, I have noticed it coming back recently, probably because Cadence has been so clingy and I keep having to pick her up over and over. The wrist brace I have is awesome though, with a thumb stabilizer.

I have it -- I got it while I was still pregnant. I saw an orthopedist and she gave me a brace, exercises, and a few Cortisone shots. My last one was in June, but the pain is back in both wrists again. It sucks -- i hope you find some relief soon.
I declined on the grounds that he hadn't delivered a baby in almost 30 years.
I don't think its weird at all. I was saying if my dad was an awesome ob (and I talked to my dad), I would let him deliver his grandkid.
This is me. But since my grandpa is my dad, if he was in the business, I doubt I'd have a problem. In the navy, he delivered a few kids, but he not an ob/gyn and he hadn't done it for decades. I had told them they could be in my delivery room if they wanted. They had a drs appointment the day i went into labor though.
