I have 4 little bears, just like my name says. 2 girls 2 boys ages 8,5,3, and my newest babe. 2 of my little bears have life threatening food allergies, feel free to ask me more about that!

I just spilled 2oz of breast milk. It's so sad because my supply is really low. I also spilled it into the crack between the counter and the stove, so I guess we'll be cleaning it up years down the road when we finally replace the appliances.
DS2 went to sleep at 9 and only got up to eat at 2, 4, and 5:30. I'll take it!

DD went down at 7:30; I was asleep by 8:30. She didn't wake up to nurse again until 2:30. Huzzah! And then got up again at 6am. Yippee! That means I got about 9 hours sleep!! She is 2 months old today. Doctor's appointment at 10am with all the shots. Little piglet has also put on almost three pounds (says my scale) this past month. It will be good to see what the doctor's scale and to get her measurements too.

Pumping this morning. We have had consistent 6.5 to 7 hour stretches! 10/10:30 to 5/5:30! But I over flowed and I didn't realize until I had breast milk soaking up the chair. My pants are soaked now at least i haven't showered yet.
On another note, is 12 weeks too late to check for tongue/lip tie? Beau's latch is still shallow and when we try to correct it he just slips back down. He's gaining weight like a champ but these recurrent clogged ducts suck.
LO slept from 8:30-7 with only one wake up at 3:30a. He's been consistent with one long stretch 5+ hours and a smaller 2-3 hour one at night lately. I hope this isn't a fluke week and continues... At least, until we hit the next sleep regression

I'm trying really hard not to spoil the bachelor for myself. I didn't get to watch last night, so I'm going to watch after work today... But I really want to know who he picked!!
Took LO to get her shots yesterday and the doc told me about the RSV going around... Woke up to feed her at 3:30 and felt like crap: body aches and nausea yuck!

Lovetit not because of the spilled milk, but because you admit the existence of the blackhole between the stove and counter. If anything falls in that crack it is just gone. End of story. :-) I get lectured from my mother all the time about not moving the stove to clean under it at least once a month. Last time I visited her I moved her oven just to be a smartass and behold! There was a moldy piece of something. The breastmilk won't start to smell will it?

I heard it on the radio this morning. I won't spoil it for you, but let me tell you what I did hear on the radio makes me want to throat punch that guy! I'm not a Bachelor watcher and he just solidified that for me by sounding like the biggest douchebag when he was giving the one lady the "you're not it" speech.
I have a confession from yesterday. I know you ladies won't judge me and hopefully most of you will laugh and/or at least giggle.
Soooo, since I've started running and lifting again (finally!) I've been getting really gassy. And it didn't help any that FI made me some mac'n'cheese with dinner the other night, which is always a great idea to feed the gassy, lactose sensitive lady. So yesterday I was extra, super gassy, and they were all silent. And some deadly. I crop dusted my entire office at some point yesterday, which was hilarious because I work with a bunch of cops. It was amazing to watch all the trainees blaming each other for my gas. Not once did anyone suspect the female in the office.
I am not sorry. I am not ashamed. I would do it again for my own amusement if I had the chance.

LO must of worn himself out yesterday. He slept from 9pm-3 and then 330-8 and he's already back to being snugly and drifting off again. I wish I didn't have to put him down to pump
My mom has been visiting for the past few days and is leaving this afternoon. I'm sad she has to leave because DS loves spending time with her so much, and of course because it gives me a little (okay, a huge) break. Right now she's downstairs playing with him while I'm upstairs having "Mommy time," whatever that means! I think I'm supposed to be napping, but obviously the first thing I did was check in here
I got online last night and bought LO clothes from Carters. So much fun and too good of a deal to pass up. This is the first shopping I do for LO, aside from his coming home outfit everything else was baby shower gifts or hand me downs. And before I bought I did take a look at what he already has for the next 6 months. He def needed pants for the summer. DH wanted to buy a couple of items for when he's older which I did, like the camo colored puffy vest (too cute). All his 18 and 24 mths clothes are stored away but I doubt my sister had any puffy vests.
LO and I went to check out Target's closing sale yesterday, everything is 30-50% off. Even though she hasn't liked any pacifiers so far, I decided to buy some MAMs since so many of you recommend them. They bought me an extra 2 hours of sleep between feedings last night! Yet another reason why I love this community and you ladies!

I don't think it's ever too late. Especially at this age-- you've given it a lot of time to try to improve the latch without intervention. Have you seen a lactation consultant? For us, seeing both a pediatric dentist and an LC was needed because she had to learn to change her latch after the procedure was done.

No, that's where I think I might hunt one down to have them look. I live in a small town in the middle of nowhere.
I went to BJs with my mom this morning and I got the 150oz dreft for $10 because an employee labeled it wrong and my mom (who is awesome) made them honor it! Woo!! Also, H is finally understanding my morning frustration with Z because he wanted to sleep in before we leave for his moms, but even after her bottle she's wide awake and making too much noise for him to sleep. I know it's horrible but him being a little miserable this morning makes me even more happy then getting $14 off the dreft! Lol I think I'll take my time getting home.
Add me to the list of reluctant cosleepers. It's been too many nights of not getting more than 45 minutes of sleep at a time. I'll keep trying to get him to sleep in his bassinet. I'm hoping he'll start sleeping better soon.

Just realized my noob status is gone!! Woo hoo! Well its going to be up to 70 degrees today so my SAHM friend and I are taking our LO's to the zoo. I'm just going for the stroll and the sunshine but hopefully her 18 month old has fun! I may not be getting the solid sleep that everyone else is enjoying, but at least there's beautiful weather this week

I'm thinking about taking the dictator into my mom's work today. I know she wants him to come in so she can show him off but I want to look at all the spring/summer baby clothes where she works! I'm thinking after the next time he eats I'll head out
stephanielouise I agree! Took lo for a long walk yesterday, it hit 50 in the afternoon didn't know it's supposed to be that warm tomorrow, I'm excited!
