Just piecing together a few things....do they want to go to the dells? At 25? I saw middle of Wisconsin and just assumed. Seems odd at the age to want to do that for their own birthday. Graciously decline.

Tomah. Even more of a desolate location.
I LOVE the Dells. I would be able to find something to do there. But I would have a hard time with the 3 hour drive there in the morning and 3 hours home at night.

PS - Can I go in your place? I don't have dogs and I love to swim. They can co-parent my children all they want. Especially while I'm lounging in the pool
You bet! It's in middle-of-nowhere WI next month.
Oooh the Dells? Or that park up by Wausau? (I live in Central Wisco )

Your parents can spend what they want on your sisters' birthday. (The expense comparison sounds a little like the non sharer in you coming out!)
Your sisters can pick what they want to do on their birthday. It may not be your cup if tea, but maybe the backyard BBQ wasn't theirs It's their birthday you don't get a say.
You received an invitation and you have every right to accept or decline and not feel guilty about it.
Hope that helps.
Pps some of the stuff you are saying seems catty to me. You thought they'd chose the over priced restaurant they like etc. If your sisters seem offended, they are probably picking up on this. I'd try to let the judgement about others go - how your parents are spending their money, what your sisters are choosing to do, who their boyfriends are and just focus on you.

I'm twenty-four and I freaking LOVE the Dells. We go there at least once a year, and it's one of my favorite places. Call me immature, but I love a good waterpark and some rollercoasters! That would be my favorite way to spend a birthday!
CALEO You said "You received an invitation and you have every right to accept or decline and not feel guilty about it. "
I could have 1,000 excuses and reasons and I would be handed the biggest guilt trip by my mother ever for not attending. But like I said before I have been given the axe on the guest list because it's now friends only. Works for me.
My sisters are very spoiled... while I have let most of it go, it pops up every now and then. It's something I am working on.
