BFing/pumping support, week of 1/19

shellbell My LO's latch has been lazier lately which has been painful. I remembered the tickling his chin with my nipple thing from back in the newborn days and sure enough he opened wide. Once he was latched on again like that, it was much better.

Sorry that advice may be super simple and you've tried it but just an idea. I had totally forgotten about that trick until the other day.

Big hugs mamosey. I feel like we have similar sleep/nursing obsessed issues with our LOs and I can always relate to your posts so much. I obviously have no advice since I'm in the same boat, but I just want to reiterate that your relationship with your LO is not dependent on you nursing. He needs you for so much more than that! You are a good mother.

I want to echo this possibility. I never used to get snuggles from LO at bedtime. She would nurse and when she was done, she would push me away. Now that I'm trying to rearrange our schedule and not nurse before naps, I get the sweetest nap time snuggles. We read and I sing to her and she snuggles in. It's honestly better than when I would nurse her before naps. I know it's not the same for everyone, but there's hope. You are more to R than a pair of boobs. I promise. (((Hugs))) mamosey
