HA. Most of us didn't have laptop (and no wireless!) in those olden days - we were studying for our midterm, I think. Maybe the final. I wrote the paper for that class on the way to and during intermissions for the Barenaked Ladies concert I went to. No lie. I couldn't afford tickets, being a poor, non-working college students, but my friend won free tickets and I wasn't going to skip it, so I hauled a copy of Thucydides History of the Pelopponesian War and my half-finished paper on the Roman coin I'd been assigned in class with me.
I was (poorly) referring to wanderingheart's paper that she had last night, but I am glad because your story is awesome and the imagery makes me smile.

I went with French Silk and Chocolate Cheesecake. DH went with Texas Pecan Fudge and Bayou Goo.
I am so full right now. To clarify, half the French silk is sitting in the fridge with the cheesecake and bayou goo. I didn't eat all of that, but I did eat the entire monte cristo, so.
