My husband and I both lost each of our dogs several months after we met in 2011. We both are animal lovers, but decided not to get another dog right away because we were focusing on TTC and the timing did not seem right. After our struggles the past 2 years and reaching the end of the TTC road, we decided to adopt a puppy this weekend from the shelter!!!

We named him "Bruce". He is a Airedale terrier / Shepherd mix. He is 13 weeks old. We are so excited to finally have another dog and I am so happy to have something to give my love and attention to. There are only so many kisses I can give my husband...haha

Good luck with getting sleep. I hope you live somewhere that winter housetraining doesn't suck. I made that mistake once. Never again. Never again will I get a puppy in February, LOL
