How often do you wear lingerie?

I consider lingerie to be negligees, garters, knee highs/stockings, etc. I have one fancy bra MH bought me from VS years ago and a silk nightie that I almost never wear. Since being on prednisone made me gain a lot of weight. I very rarely feel comfortable in my own skin anymore. I know I should be confident in who I am since my weight does not define me but it has been a hard adjustment.

ETA - MH isn't into it all that much. He has mentioned a few times he'd like me to buy one of those fishnet body stockings for funsies but I am hesitant.

Once a month or every other month. I got a lot of good lingerie as gifts during my bachelorette party and MH loves when I wear it. TTC has actually motivated me to wear it more often to spice-up scheduled sex.

All of the things you listed can be lingerie worn under the right circumstances. Since I'm obsessed with hanky panky lace thongs, and wear them almost daily regardless of sexual intentions, I don't really consider that lingerie. I also like to wear nightgowns to bed (don't right now because DD is in bed with us), but to me that's a different thing that getting into a special get up for him.

MH really likes things like silky/lacey baby dolls with matching panty and stockings/heels, and I have a lot of it both from when we were dating and since. I got a bunch at my bachelorette party (lingerie themed) and he's bought me a few outfits himself over the years. Every now and then if I don't wear something for awhile, he mentions it and I make a point to do it more often. Right now it's mostly special occasions and fertile week (except these couple TTA cycles of course), or after "date nights."

I think anything nicer than normal day to day wear is lingerie.
And body images aside, I love lingerie! Normally just the lacy, silky type stuff. Not really into leather or deep into outfits/themes.
Now irl, I don't wear it often. I'm way too self conscious about my body. Always have been, just much worse with the extra weight.
Dh likes it once in a while, but he really doesn't care one way or another. As long as he's getting laid, he doesn't care what I am or am not wearing.

I said SS because I usually wear lingerie for special occasions but every so often when we are having planned sex MH will want me to wear something. Before I got married I naively thought I'd get a lot more use out of lingerie, but that is not the case in reality. Now I have a few pairs of fancy undies and some bras that occasionally get worn.

To me, lingerie is anything you wear for "dress up," to be sexy. I wouldn't count a cute, lacy bra/panty set, for example (even though I know that stuff is labeled as lingerie in places like VS). I would also count little uniform-type outfits (schoolgirl, French maid, etc.) I rarely dress up for H, but when I do it's pretty random and not necessarily an anniversary or anything. I'm more likely to surprise him in an outfit when he gets home from work.

H and I both agree that lingerie is any thing from a matching set of sexy bra and underwear to baby dolls, corsets etc. His view of lingerie would probably be different if I wasn't a nude bra, cotton underwear sort of person. He'll take what he can get.

I do lingerie for special occasions and before I put on weight we used to do wifey lingerie fashion shows. He asked last night if we could do one again, and I told him in a couple of months after I hit the gym hard. I feel bad that he thinks I look good but I feel so crappy about myself that I just can't do it.

When we were TTC J I started to wear it like 3-4 times a week since sex was getting super boring. Now that we only have sex like twice a week I don't need it.


I bring it on trips though.

For his birthday one year, all MH wanted was for me to get a fishnet body stocking.  Maybe I will pull that out for him at some point this weekend.  After all, his birthday was a couple of days ago and he got no sex because AF, that bitch.

I used to for special occasions or just because but not since having DS. I'd like my body to get back close to where it used to be before I start wearing it again.

Not often enough... I have a pretty big stash, but can't seem to bring myself to put it on. I like to do the dirty totally naked and it's a hassle to put on all of the lingerie just to take it off.

I have a drawer full and rarely wear any of it. DH likes it, but never asks.

I consider sexy underpants, pretty bras, babydolls, stockings, etc, lingerie. Historically I haven't broken out lingerie often but I got a couple more pieces earlier this year so yay sexy lacy things. J's fine with whatever but gets an extra kick out of lacy/silky/etc stuff, so I put something on more often now than in the past and I keep an eye out for deals in case I want to add to my stash.
