Hey y’all-
First, the “we” in this document and others attached refers to the ad hoc group of moderators and administrators that have volunteered to get the place going. The final approval of the language is from NariaDreaming since she is the Board Owner, and wordsy served as ghostwriter for the documents. These documents are our best effort right now based on what we know right now—which is FAR from everything. Feedback is welcome.
And typos are wordsy’s fault.
Most important, our Mission Statement and Terms of Use are HERE. Please, everyone, go read them.
Next, we would like to run board moderator elections this week. First, we want to know which boards want moderators and how many they would like.
We will do that in a separate poll on each board starting in just a few minutes.
If your board choses not to elect a board moderator(s), the moderation of your board will be done by Global Moderators and Administrators. The number of Global Moderators will be determined by the community needs; therefore, if many boards chose not to elect Board Moderators more Global Moderators will be selected.
See HERE for the Moderator Role Description to see what moderators here will do.
Vote in the "_____ Nature of Moderation Poll" for what kind of moderation you would like to see for your board. Feel free to discuss in the poll on your board before you vote. You can choose two options.
That poll will stay up until Wednesday morning when it will be replaced by a nomination poll on boards needing elections.
Nominations run until Thursday morning, when the voting poll will be put up for 48 hours.
After voting closes, Administrators will work over the next days to reorganize the boards according to the voting.
The options will be:
No board moderator, just coverage by Global Mods and Admin
A single board moderator
(Please give me some time to get the polls up on each board. It'll take me a bit.)
EDIT TO ADD:
Mobile Voting is possible on Tapatalk. Go to webview by clicking the three dots menu, then you can vote.
