I have to go back to the hospital again today to have my physical at employee health to be sure I'm ready for work. I have to take Owen with me...some hopefully he behaves.
Next weekend I go back to work...not quite ready yet, at least it's only for weekends. These 11 weeks FLEW by.
This week, weather permitting, we are going to the zoo....did should be fun because Owen has been super curious lately.

Dinner depends on the day. Usually LO has a cat nap around 5 so that's when I start preparing. I also make double portions frequently and freeze the extras. There are days when it's a nut house and we order in.

funinthenorth Crockpot freezer meals are my friend! I prep them when I come home from the grocery store, either while he is napping or when DH can watch him, and then the work is over. I can get it out of the freezer, toss it in the crockpot, and we have supper any night of the week. I usually pair with a salad and we are good to go!

I need to celebrate this and you ladies will understand C is usually a tummy sleeper and must be walked around until he is super drowsy or asleep, and then he will nap or go to bed. This morning I went down to fix my DH'S coffee and he was playing on the bed, sucking his thumb (his new skill on his back), and when I can back he was out! He went from awake to asleep with no fussing and no help from me! I don't even care that he only napped for 30 minutes, he did it by himself and I am one proud mommy
I have a question for you ladies. Before L I worked out in the am before work. If time and out morn routine allows, I'd love to continue doing this. For those mommy's who work out first thing in the morn, what do you do about engorgment? Do I need to make sure I have extra time to pump before I work out?

Love his jammies! My LO has the same and they're my favorite

sgio7485 I love those jammies too! He wears them basically every day because they are the only zip up ones I have in his size. FTM didn't know 6 month and 6-9 month clothes were completely different sizes, so the ones I bought him are too big yet. Going to the local consignment store to see if I can get another outfit for less than new since I doubt he will be in this size past the next growth spurt!

LoL I don't work out in the early morning, but I must pump first thing; I am a leaky mess now that LO STTN. I usually pump the other side for 5-10 minutes with my manual after LO eats. I would do a short pump session to make it more comfortable to run or whatever you are doing.
In the parking lot at work redoing my make up. I thought I was going to make it without crying, but I got half way here and saw her toy in my purse and lost it...I'm hoping no one comments on my puffiness.
Lo slept in his crib for the first night! Went down at 10:30, was out by 10:45 and right now his eyes are closed but he's starting to wake up a little. But that's 7 hours! Funny thing is he has turned himseft 180 degrees while swaddled up like a burrito. How the hell did he manage that?!?!

I pump if I feel engorged before workouts, esp if I'm running or doing yoga.

I'm sorry. I hope your day isn't too emotional and you can make it through with little tears!
We got more snow last night and expecting a few inches more. I got ready for work, drove 2 blocks and heard it'd be a 2 hr commute and drove back home. I emailed my boss and told him I decided to work from home. This weather sucks.
DH put daniels neighborhood on for lo again this morning. I know a lot of you know the show, do you recognize all the references to an older show called Mr.Rogers Neighbood? I think thats what its called. The song "won't you be my neighbor" and the trolley that he rides on are from that show. Brought back memories.
@littlefoote that face is adorable! I need to do our taxes today. I think this is the fourth or fifth year in a row I've screwed up our withholding. Might be time to get a tax professional.
The city just turned off the power on our street to do some road work. Now I can't shower, cook or watch Netflix :-( I would take LO for a walk but it's way too cold, I don't know what to do with myself. Ugh FWP
AW: I'm so thankful for my dh. Even though he is going through med-school right now, he works his ass of to keep me and lo happy. Today, I had to get up early to get ready for an appointment and got to have breakfast with him while lo slept. It was so refreshing and a great reminder of our love and connection.

@nedralynn - what is with that show? Talking puppies in vehicles that save the day? I feel like they're trying to jam everything "boys" like into one show.

Not looking forward to working 4 days this week instead of my usual 2.. And having 3 of those back to back. Idk how so many people can get up with there LO overnight and still function the next day. Let alone work! Haha I did fine in the beginning and now I feel like it's all slipping away. I cannot wait for LO to sttn!
