My toddler hid my car keys. Won't show me where. After 45 minutes of searching, I had to call school to tell them I'd be super late, then called my friend in tears to ask her to drive me. I need a do over
I've had at least one bowl of a Honey Nut Cheerios every day for the past two weeks...probably not good but I love them!
Man, I've been eating tortilla chips with a mix of salsa and cream cheese. I think honey nut cheerios wins this one! Keep up the healthy work!
I've nearly finished a bag of dill pickle chips in 2 days. The only healthy meal I've been eating is breakfast. Everything else has been whatever I can get my hands on. I'm not too into sweets this pregnancy though. Just carbs and lots of them.
elenetxu and slurpeelove - Its not super unhealthy just lots of sugar. Plus I said at least one bowl. One night last week I ate 4 bowls for supper. Yikes!
A positive for today is I am 13 weeks and I can tell my belly is feeling and looking a lot different even dh woke up and noticed a little bit
I'm so jealous! Im 13 weeks with twins and I just look bloated. I can't wait to start showing!
I'm really looking forward to eating food later because it's going to be delicious (chipotle for lunch and a homemade meatball hero for dinner) but I hardly ever feel hungry. Last night I ate dinner at almost 9 because I knew I needed to eat something but I wasn't hungry at all and didn't really feel like it. I miss feeling hungry.
Its taking forever to get member status. I'm trying my hardest to be a member, but its like I will never be past a noob.
I agree it's taking forever... I looked at the forum member list and you know some ladies had close to 1,000 posts already?!? That was last night, so they're probably already over 1,000 now.

My kiddo has made a full recovery from yesterday. Now I feel like death. I'm laying on the couch with the worst headache ever while he plays by himself. I feel like the worst mom ever, but I can hardly move.

I had my 16 week visit yesterday and we finally got to hear baby's heartbeat on the doppler! The OB Nurse is a magical fairy because she took one look at me and knew exactly where baby was hanging out. Baby is hanging still near my pelvic bone, which explains all the peeing. Baby really *is* doing jumping jacks on my bladder. They were super active so things are good and I can breath again. We also paid our first half portion of doctor's expenses. Now I feel poor.
I have a prenatal massage today and I'm kind of nervous about it. I'm always nervous driving to new places.

My mom usually watches my nephew on Tuesdays and Thursdays but she had surgery last week and my stepdad is having surgery this week so they couldn't watch him. She has asked me to watch him both times. I don't mind watching him but I'm exhausted right now and I wish she would just notice once in a while. She even walked in the door to me laying on the couch in my pjs and I looked like death and all she said was "Are you feeling alright?!" What am I supposed to say? No I feel like death please take your son and leave!
It's 10:15-1 today. I can do this. I'll probably lock my DS's and nephew in the bedroom and they can destroy it play while I watch tv in the living room. I haven't even told my boys he's coming because I didn't want to listen to them ask me 20 times when he's coming.
Plus -- is it this way with anyone else?! You say yes once and that automatically signs you up for every flipping additional time.

Another group I'm part of was chatting yesterday and this Sleepsuit came up. This thing is magical. Everyone go buy one. This is the only way my child would sleep, seriously, he went the first 4 months of his life sleeping no more than 30-60mins at a time. This suit changed our lives, plus he looked so adorable in it. Google baby Merlin's magic sleepsuit. You can thank me later.

I want cupcakes.
DD woke up at 5am when DH left for work, but I was able to get her back to sleep and I passed out on the couch until 8. Went upstairs to find her stark naked with pee all over her sheets and playing "slip'n'slide" in her own pee on her floor. And honestly? It kept her quiet and occupied and I didn't even care...which makes me MOM OF THE YEAR! She's all cleaned up now and we're snuggling with juice/ginger ale respectively and watching Calliou.
Came into work today and at the top of my inbox was an angry email from another employee who is upset with me for doing my job, but not doing it quite the way she would do it, were she the one with my job. Luckily, there was already a response from my boss (also her boss) defending my work. So, I wash my hands of this issue. Great bosses to the rescue!

Oh, here's one. Trigger warning for mentions of teeth and nightmares.
I had a horrible nightmare that all my teeth rotted out last night because of morning sickness. Two of them were basically jelly, the rest were broken, black, and rotting. My mom offered to pull the worst one because of how bad it hurt and how we couldn't get to a dentist until morning. It happened overnight and I was freaking out and crying and staring at my mouth in the mirror...and pinching myself to wake up from the dream. Which didn't work.
Until I woke up and had to race to the bathroom to count my shiny white teeth (that might have one cavity but they aren't all about to rot out and turn into black mush). OH MY GOSH I'm still kinda alarmed.
wineandcake Is your LO still wearing the sleepsuit or have you transitioned out of it yet? I was going to get it for my LO when he was a few months old, but my friend who used it told me not to, due to the tough transition out of it. I'd be curious to know how it went for you if you've been through it yet.

We got rid of it at about 7m when he started rolling over. We went from that right to a sleepsack and it was great. I'm so glad we used it since it helped him learn to sleep and we did sleep training when we transitioned him out of it. Sleep training went so well for a few months and then he was back to horrible sleeping, at 23m he is just starting to go back to proper sleep. The sleepsuit bought me some decent sleep for a few months, it was worth it. We'll be using it with the next babe as well.
Tuesdays after holidays are INSANE at work. INSANE. Yet, I somehow managed to skip the donut for breakfast this morning and go for the milk and Go Lean cereal. I'm still not sure why/how I did that. I still wish I picked the donut, to be honest.
Being home all day with the girls (even with help) yesterday was definitely borderline way too much activity for a week post-surgery. DH didn't have a holiday, which was completely lame. I was beyond exhausted (and physically sore) by the time DH got home -- thankfully he kicked me out to curl up in bed for an hour or so before the girls' bedtime.
I'm flying in and out of Chicago for a hot minute on Thursday for work, BUT I may have just enough time to grab a quick coffee with my sister - who works just a block or two away from where the meeting will be taking place. yay!

Goodness that thing is expensive on Amazon.
I think I paid 50$ and it was worth every penny. I'm buying a second just in case. I'll pass them on to friends having babies when I'm done with it.
I woke up to what felt like the baby having a seizure, it was a crazy spastic, jarring feeling. And it was one of those times where you don't know if it's a dream or really happened. So then I couldn't fall back to sleep. I should have just grabbed the doppler to make myself feel better. Now I'm stressing myself out, feeling crampy, haven't felt him move this morning and usually do when I'm leaned forward at my desk on the computer. Ugh. I hate this feeling. I just might use the nurse line today to make myself feel better

DH came home sick from work yesterday, and he's staying home today, too. I love the man to death, but man colds are the worst! I'm hoping I can sneak out and go to Target today for some retail therapy.. Otherwise I'm going to hang out, do laundry and eat queso today.
I have a counselor's apt today at 1 that I am considering rescheduling because my face feels like it is going to explode. honestly, I wish it would and just get it over with. damn sinus colds and headaches
You know when you and your SO are talking and one thinks you're joking around and the other is pissed off and each other don't seem to know it and it turns into a big fight? FML. Today sucks.

I can totally relate to this! Dill pickle chips, salt and vinegar, cheeto puffs, chili cheese fritos, cheddar munchies mix - love and crave them all! Really not into sweets this pregnancy either, have the occasional piece of chocolate once in a while, or a piece of cake at a bday party but could really go without.

One day I will learn not to click on pictures of food. Today is not that day. Now I want everything. Actually I really want NEED Cheetos, the puffy ones.
Oh and I get my 2nd prenatal massage today. Pretty excited! If you haven't got one, seriously go if you can. It's magical.

I'm having a hard time getting into the board here. Not sure why because I actually like the format and the app. I'm just feeling meh about everything lately. One of those days weeks.
I started feeling crappy yesterday, and I woke up this morning completely stopped up. My head feels like it's going to explode. Hello, sinus infection.
