Mine is still a little off. There was 6 weeks between it. I had the weird 6 week bleed after jot bleeding since 4 weeks. Then I had AF at 8 weeks and again at 14 weeks.
It's super normal for AF to be weird right now. I had PP bleeding til 6 weeks, followed by an AF that lasted like 3 days. Then no bleeding until 11 weeks PP, at which time I got a super light period for a day and spotting for a day, nothing since. I am EP'ing.

Mine isn't back yet but with my other two, my first cycle after first AF was almost 60 days, second cycle 40ish, third cycle back to normal for the most part. This was all while BFing and much later (around a year) so that made for some extra screwiness.
I had PP bleeding for 4 weeks then something at 6 weeks. I haven't had anything since so I don't know if it was because I overdid it once I was cleared for exercise at 6 weeks, starting the mini pill, or an actual period. I pump at work/bf at home so halfsies.

Mine is ridiculous. My world-beating PP bleeding went on for nearly two months, paused for a few days, then rolled right into a two-plus-week, crazy period. Immediately after it (finally) abated, I had my Mirena placed, and I've been enjoying spotting and light bleeding off and on since. It's been six weeks.
My OB advised that since I'm still breastfeeding (pumping), I'm likely to have this continual spotting until I stop and things regulate to a more predictable, lighter flow.
So no advice to give, really, just know you're not alone in being menstrually whacked-out. (-:

So I thought about starting this thread yesterday but decided to save it for next week's TMI Tuesday.
I had a bit of spotting on Tuesday and was like "seriously? I am EBF and I can't even get 3mo between post partum bleeding and AF?!" But then Wednesday there was no sign of bleeding at all! So I've been worried it's implantation spotting or ovulation spotting (which is not much better, since we had unprotected sex Saturday...) but hopefully it's just random breastfeeding spotting. I only ovulated a few times a year before getting pregnant so I'm really counting on my body's natural infertility here...or I could be the first D14 mama to have Irish twins. I'm going to drink as much as I can this weekend just to be safe.
BTW, what do people think of setting up a pool to guess who will get their first positive pregnancy test? Maybe one pool for intentional and one for unintentional.
Not much help here either. My pp bleeding didn't stop for almost 9 weeks (midwife said she thought I had endometritis at 6 week visit so had to go on antibiotics- blah!) and af still hasn't returned. Which is A-ok with me- not looking forward to finding out if my debilitating cramps will return being off the pill

Heh, I forgot to use back up while on antibiotics last week...I am hoping that nursing counts as back up protection? The paperwork on my minipill didn't list antibiotics as reducing effectiveness so I am probably overthinking it, otherwise D15 here I come.

I think mine came back last week at 12.5 weeks pp. I've had very light spotting for a week now. I'm EBF so I also feel a bit cheated but LO has been STTN for several weeks so I guess that could explain it.
I bled PP for 6 full weeks and thought my period was returning at 8 weeks but after a few hours of spotting it vanished and I'm now at 13.5 weeks since delivery. I was exclusively pumping round the clock at first but have cut it to 4 sessions daily (and formula supplementing) so as far as I know that shouldn't be enough to stop it anymore. I dropped the overnight pumping about a month ago and typically go 10 hours without pumping at night now so I am paranoid it will start any minute now...
I bled on and off for 9+ weeks, and had spotting at 12 weeks, which I thought would be the return of AF. But nothing since then. It turned between 8-13 months with my other kids.

At 14wks PP the bitch came back heavy. No cramping or anything just an extra heavy flow. Yuck. All of 6 days. We're using rubbers and the PO method over here. My PP bleeding lessoned by like 3-4 days after she was born. But hung around a little less than 6 weeks.

This is exactly what happened to me except it was heavy bleeding instead of just spotting for the first 5 weeks of the Mirena. Then the random spotting. Now, AF just started again this week, cramps and all. Who knows for how long this time...
I'm pretty sure my uterus is obsessed with punctuality (and thoroughness I guess)- always on time or early for the party, even when the odds are against AF.
I got the Mirena at about 8 weeks, which seemed like an excellent decision at the time. (My PP bleeding stopped at 3 or 4 weeks and I had no signs of anything happening soon.) 6 weeks later I'm not sure if this is AF, or if it's still the weird spotting/snail trail crap from getting the IUD. Either way, spotting and light bleeding for 6 straight weeks is not very fun.

Following up on my own post, I POAS for the first time in a long time today. I read it wrong and almost gave myself a heart attack but I got a solid not pregnant result-- definitely the only time I've ever been happy to see that!

Hah I also recently POAS. We DTD last month and half way through realized there was no protection. T just didn't cross my mind because we hadn't used it for a long and I was so psyched up for doing it the first time. Anyway he didn't even finish and I haven't had a period yet so it was probably silly to be worried about it but when you don't have your period and then a wave of nausea in the morning your mind starts going in all kinds of directions.

Poas club here too. After the antibiotics incident I started imagining that I had pregnancy symptoms. Test was negative, just some indigestion. BF cycle craziness messes with your mind!
No AF here yet, just a tiny amount if spotting an I'm 15 weeks pp, but +1 for POAS. We've dtd a few times so the spotting had me freaking, thinking it was implantation bleeding
I've had no signs of the period returning yet and after reading your post Miss Killjoy I'm in no stinking hurry- that really blows. I can't imagine any bleeding being worse than post partum bleeding booooo!
I had seven full days of spotting and was beginning to think it was the world's lightest period and then it switched to super heavy last night. I'm guessing this will go for a least 4 or 5 days too. If I bleed 12 days a month I will freak out! I used bc continously before getting pregnant and skipped my period most months and only had it twice after quitting bc before getting pregnant. I have no idea what my cycle will really look like without hormonal bc and I'm not looking forward to finding out.
AF came back today with a vengeance. I forgot what it's like to have a period not on the pill. By the time my body got used to no birth control I was pregnant. I forgot the pain! And how much!
Sort of related to period talk, did anybody have like unprecedented amounts of cervical fluid before their first period? I'm 99.9% sure (after a couple tests) that I'm not pregnant and I haven't had AF but I'm having what I hope is more watery cervical fluid than I had the entire year I was TTC in the past couple days. Wondering if it's normal or possibly something else and fearing it's a harbinger of an insane forthcoming period.

Definitely yes. The CM was RIDICULOUS. So was the period that followed.
Well I guess I'd rather it be CM than anything else but I'm soooo afraid for the coming red tide if they are proportional. If I remember by TTC literature correctly I should expect it in 2 weeks? I'm so bummed that LO is only sleeping 60-90m stretches so I'm way too exhausted to even think about sex now that I evidently have estrogen again.
