I woke up dreaming that I was having contractions. Then I realized my stomach really does hurt. I'm 95% sure it's just gas pains though. I had a big glass of metamucil AND a big bowl of mac & cheese about an hour before I went to bed. My body is probably confused... and THEN I remembered that a lot of people I know have had the stomach flu in the past week (including my sister's family). So I'm worried it's that, too! 

Guess I'll try and get some paperwork done. Good morning everyone!

My office and a few other offices are sitting through a super boring training session all day today (worse than usual). The kicker is DH "visiting" and is the only speaker for most of the training- 8am-2pm. Awkward.

Morning! Hope it's just gas and not the stomach flu!

Doctor gave me valtrex for a cold sore which I've taken two nights in a row and it's practically gone, but in it's place is vertigo if I make any sudden/jerky movements with my head. Unsure if it's related to the medicine or because my sinuses were messed up for a week.

Also I've only had three cold sores (once a year) for past 3 years, and its not genital or HSP2 or anything, but they still recommended taking valtrex from 34 weeks on to delivery?! That seems like a very long time?? Anyone have experience with this?

Had another ENT appt last night and had my ear abused and nose scoped. I am even more stuffy today. At least my ear infection is healing. My other ear hurts and they said the ear drum is puckering because of the fluid from the sinus infection.

My DH finally got to feel our Lo kicking yesterday. Everytime he would try before our little guy would stop. He was kicking up a storm for daddy.

I can only sleep on my left side and for the past week I have woken up and my ear has been extremely painful, like it was folded over as I slept on it. It goes away after a while of course but everyday is getting ridiculous! And I woke up with a sore throat today

I went to my local bagel shop to get breakfast and they fucked it up. sooo pissed off.. I ordered a Bagel, toasted twice, with cream cheese, tomato and Munster cheese... Fers messed it up. I got to work they put butter on it (eww) and toasted the cheese. Now I am a regular at the bagel shop so I called and the girl behind the counter was like hold on, and she yelled to the guy in the back. You messed up D's breakfast...Dont you know not to mess up a pregnant ladys food??

@littlechivette I agree in the nesting mode. I went into the city yesterday specifically to start stocking up on and getting my list of randoms needed around the house for both DS and baby. I'm feeling pretty good and excited now!

In my shopping fury, I started thinking really ahead and got excited for newborn/family pics and went to Carter's and picked these up for both DS and baby..I'm team green so got an outfit both ways and also shocked myself into looking at newborn clothing again-how are their outfits the same size as DS's shirt?! When did DS get so big/newborns so tiny?! Ahh!

I'm in serious freak out mode but DH is still in the "we have three months, why are you worried?" place.

Also I've decided I want to take a course in the fall since I won't be teaching and this particular course is only offered during the day but it's a prerequisite for other courses I need. DH said that as long as he's not teaching at the same time I can bring baby to the college and he'll watch him. All I could think of was DH trying to run office hours with a baby with him. LOL

We leave tomorrow to go to an indoor water park with our friends who have a 4 year old and a son 6 days older than DS. I'm interested to see if he is potty trained and how good of a swimmer he is compared to my guy. DS has been taking swim lessons (by himself, we don't get in the water with him) for a few months and I would love to see if it's doing anything. Not a bitchy judgmental comparison, just general curiosity. DS has speech delays so I would love to see him "ahead" at something!

Ugh DD is not doing better... It will be into the hospital we go today. Fever of 103 heart rate of 180 and horrible oxygen sats. Those damn antibiotics did nothing.. So hopefully the doctors can figure out what the heck is going on. Not a great start to the day over here. I feel as though all my pregnancy symptoms have taken back seat to my poor baby girl right now. I am calmer today thanks to my ob for medicating me. Very small dose but it helps. I feel like I can focus on what to do and not how the fuck I am gonna do it. Thank you everyone for the continued thoughts and prayers.

Sorry she has to go to the hospital, but I hope they can figure out what's going on.  As for the meds, mommy has to be able to function, so I'm glad you're feeling better.

I feel like entire shit both physically and emotionally. I barely slept last night because I have a chest cold and can't breathe-I spent most of the night trying to sleep sitting up which is wonderful. I'm going to work today though to avoid being DHs number one enemy again like I was yesterday for not going. Reallllly done with so many things-today should be fun.

I slept reasonablely well last night, after I put a pillow at my back, so I turn over without having to move my pg pillow every time. It also prevents me from sleeping entirely on my back too, which prevents my snoring a little.

We're going to lunch with my mom and nephew, and then if trhe wether is nice, we'll go to park for a bit. H is freaking out about that because everyone in that house has been so sick this winter, but my mom wouldn't do anything to endanger us, so I'm not worried.

DS1 has been whining non-stop this morning.

Just as he finally stopped, he went out of our apt to check the mail. Without permission. While I was pooping. What the heck dude.

Fortunately our mailboxes are inside a central interior vestibule about 10 steps from my front door and he's not tall enough to open the door to the outside *this month* (he's maybe half an inch too short). Holy hell dude. You can't pull that ish when I'm nursing your brother this summer, NOPE.

Uuuuugh. I have a cold and feel fairly crappy. It isn't a bad cold but tylenol isn't cutting it. I took off Tuesday because I felt a little crappy. I wish I had waited to take off until today. I only work a half day on Thursdays and I have NO interest in going to teach the small monsters that probably made me sick.
Also tomorrow is a professional day where we can 'work from an alternate location.' Basically if your grades are done you're off for the day...so I scheduled my regular GD test and getting a cavity filled for tomorrow. Then Saturday is birth class followed by Bible study at our house. It makes me feel like I won't have a weekend.
Alright, I'm done complaining for now ☺

I have an insane hunger these days. I eat and eat and I'm still hungry! The amount I ate for breakfast this morning was insane, and yet somehow, I was still needing more. I'm usually an all day snacker and small meal kind of person, so this is def new for me. Baby must be taking everything!

My dog is disgusting today. She has mad gas and it's stinking up the house. If I put her outside, she just barks and barks so that's a no go. She's had a good tummy for over a year but this week it seems to be off. I hope it clears soon because it's making me gag.

In the symptom department: just feeling tired and a bit of heart burn. Sweets cause it so I'm cutting out the sweets. Boo. And there are only 9 weeks until my repeat c/s. Time is flying.

So, my best friend has been kind enough to throw me a baby shower. She mailed out invitations and requested RSVPs from the guests. Both grandmothers were invited, despite living out of town, and my mom booked a flight and rsvp'd ages ago. The shower is on April 4th, and my mil spoke to DH yesterday saying there is a chance that she and my fil are going to come up for the weekend to attend the shower...but to not tell me because it's not a sure thing yet. The shower is basically a week out...I don't understand how it's not a sure thing, and also, I feel she's being pretty inconsiderate to the hostess. Wtf!
