So DS finally slept last night without any major freak outs. We also decided not to give any nebs to keep him awake. My FFFC: Everytime he cried (4 times) I woke DH up to go feed and rock him. I know DH was tired, but so was I! He doesn't ever cry after DH puts him in the crib, so I figured it was better for him to do it anyway!
If the baby wakes up earlier than normal in the morning I make DH get up with him.
I don't even feel bad. I'm on baby duty allll night. I don't care if the baby is sleeping better, I still don't sleep as well as DH does since we are still bed-sharing.

It's been a long week for you. You need sleep too! Hope you got some good zzzz's
I believe-ish in ghosts. I have some memories as a young child that made me think I had some brushes with one at my grandparent's old farm house (it feels so silly to see that typed out - lol), and now I'm at a historic hotel by myself and happened to catch sight of a story they had posted on the wall about a hotel ghost. Nice. Now I'm expecting to see her with every move. I hope she's nice!

You're not alone. I swear Landen can see ghosts or spirits (whatever they are). He'll stare at the corner of the wall and reach his hands up toward it and start waving. It's really creepy!
One night both of my kids woke up within just a few minutes of each other and both appeared to be talking (or "talking" in the case of the baby) to someone in the room. I love to believe it was their great-grandma/grandpa paying them a visit.

The hubs fell asleep on the floor last night after dinner (he's got a cold, was out the night before for his work thing, and up early for the golf thing). I told DS to go jump on him.
I don't either now that I think about it. I read to DS when he wants to. I do a lot of hands on communication with her like showing her body parts and talking to her about things that we see in person.
I wonder if the way we teach babies passes on to things that we learn as adults (auditory, visual, hands on) I am a very hands on learner. I seem to teach my kids that way as well.

H thinks he had experiences seeing ghosts as a kid (but hasn't seen them as an adult). When he finally told his dad, he said, yeah, that happened to me too. H is set on not telling LO and seeing if she sees them, too.
FFFC: Apparently I slept through an hour of my baby being awake (and crying a bit) last night. H didn't, but he also never went to get her, because she was fine!
I broke my stroller handle yesterday. Im unreasonably sad about it. I called customer service and its not covered under warranty.
How did you break it? And how is the handle not covered under a warranty? That's ridiculous.
Its kind of a weird stroller that has the ability to swivel different directions. There are these handles you pull to be able to rotate it. We were sitting at lunch and had him facing us, and when I went to turn him back to normal, it sort of popped and lost tension. One handle is still functional, but you need both to be able to remove the seat from the base. Super annoying. I sent customer service an email this morning about how to fix it, or if they have any other suggestions (besides buying a new seat).
I hardly read to DD1, she wouldn't sit still for it even if I did.
Now DD1 brings me book after book after book after book so I can pretend I am being a better mom to Aviv.
FFFC: I am annoyed at how many solids Aviv is eating because I have to plan food for her and it's stressful and annoying and I am lazy. Breast milk forever.

We have a smart TV and play Netflix on it (no cable). It will start playing another episode automatically if you don't stop it, but it gives you like 20 seconds to stop it. DS ran to me for another episode yesterday, and I would have started another episode but I was making my lunch... so since telling him to wait, or that it would start soon, doesn't work, I told him to tell the TV, "Play another episode, please." I could hear him in the other room saying, "Play 'nother 'pisode TV. PWEASE." After two times it did. I may have been laughing hysterically in the kitchen while DH was giving me the side eye.

My supply is dwindling. I read somewhere that looking at pictures of DD and singing (like what I do when I'm actually nursing) could help. So now I'm sitting in my classroom pumping while I look at pictures of DD and singing the songs I sing her when I nurse.

This makes me have to confess that I broke the folding mechanism on a stroller when ODS was a baby. I called customer service and they had me send in pics. I must have convinced them it was defective because the sent a new stroller, no questions asked! It wasn't anything fancy, just a Chicco umbrella type thing, but still. I know it was my fault it broke.
