Well, originally my IUD was scheduled to come out on 2/13, but that's up in the air. We usually don't do too much on Valentine's Day, I make a kick ass ceasar salad from scratch so we'll probably have that and some wine.

We will be in Mexico to celebrate SIL's dirty thirty. We may ask our ILs to watch M for an hour so H and I can go to "happy hour." Meaning, take her for a little bit so we can have sex. But they don't need to know that.
Welp it sounds like MIL will be coming over to watch LO while DH and I go out to dinner. Then we will DTD while not thinking about his mother in the guest room.
Lol. How close it the guest room? <nosy. I don't think I could do it for fear of MIL hearing even the faintest bed squeak.
I'm thinking of getting us a giant monogram like @elf828 got for the wall over our headboard. Can I use valentines as an excuse and give it to DH? I think that it's kind of romantic, even though it's for me too. WWF14Think?
Do it! I've been meaning to get one to (to copy Elf's lyfe.) but I should probably wait a couple months for $$.
We have been together for 14 Valentine's Days so far in our relationship. The first 3, he took me to Olive Garden every year. I finally asked him why that's where we went for V day every year and he didn't even realize it, so it's kind of become a thing with us. We never go on V day anymore though, just sometime in Feb, and we bring the kids now, too.
Since DS was born, we've turned V day into more of a family date, so we do something special as a family to make it fun for the kids, then usually have some kind of special dessert and wine or something when the kids are in bed. This year, we were planning to take the kids to the aquarium for DD's birthday, so we're killing two birds with one stone and going on Valentine's Day
I should add that since we never really go out on Valentine's Day, it was quite the shock when he proposed on V day 11 years ago! And guess where he took me to dinner to celebrate?
