Hello ladies. I'm considered high risk because I'm very overweight. My dr has put me on an injectable to prevent blood clots and I'm going to need to see him every 2 weeks. I'm not happy that this is something that I've done to myself and that my dr enjoys fat shaming me. But I'll do anything to keep my LO healthy. Looking forward to sharing in this community!
welcome! I don't know how long you've been with your OB but, imho, he shouldn't find any enjoyment fat shaming you, much less fat shaming you. It's hard enough being pregnant, dealing with hormones and your own acknowledgment of weight issues but your doctor should not make you feel shameful at all! Your doctor should be supportive and try to help you find ways to manage your weight safely during your pregnancy. If you're not overly attached to your OB, I would consider finding a new one.
At the end of the day, you're willing to do whatever it takes for your little one and you should be in a supportive environment.
Baby Elliott (technically) due 6.13.2015 but born via c-section on 4.12.2015 at 31w1d after 31d of hospital arrest (think house arrest) for monitoring.

MrsC0617, this 100%! I would look for another OB who is supportive and not fat shaming you! That's terrible!!
