I just had my NT scan, the baby was wiggling and flipping all over the place. It's still so strange how something can be that active inside you, yet you can't feel a thing. And how it can be so small but still have all the parts that make it look like a baby already. I puked Saturday. I had thought I was in the clear, although I'm not sure if it was a result of pregnancy or bad pork... I am ready to start feeling more normal tho, so come on second tri! Luckily this time D has been super understanding about my food aversions. With L he was all "you should be cooking more/better for me!" And this time he's like "don't look at the food."

Had my 35 week appointment yesterday. The doctor officially told me that my traveling days are done until baby is born. (good thing I got two trips in last week).
My cousin gave me a pregnancy pillow and it has helped me sleep so much better!!
31 weeks now! I'm starting to get impatient. I still feel mostly good, but it feels like I've been pregnant forever and I'm ready for this baby to get here! Baby's room is pretty much set up and we have everything we need, so the next 8-10 weeks can go ahead and speed up, please!
Anyone moved with a newborn? We will be selling our house and then moving across the country sometime in the next six months, and I'm really wondering how that is going to go with a toddler and newborn.
Well, I am cautiously joining the pact grads group. I got my BFP last Monday. I got my blood test results back at 629 for 16 DPO and 6,000 for 20 DPO. Those numbers seem pretty good to me. FF estimates my due date at Sept 22nd due to my late ovulation. Luckily, with my long cycles I get to have my first US two weeks from Thursday even though I should only be 7 weeks. I don't really have any symptoms yet other than bloating, but I didn't last time either. I waited all week to tell DH and I bought an "I've got a big surprise" shirt for L to wear. He totally didn't see it the first night so I had to spell it out for him the night after.

robi1 Doing it with a newborn is easier than with a toddler, IMO. Just make sure you have the things you will need available. Is there someone you can crash with while the move is going down? Maybe stay with your parents or a friend for a few days till the dust settles (figurative, not literal.) Or if someone can come help out, that would be good too. GL!

Yeah, my in-laws live nearby, so we will probably end up staying at their place while finishing up the packing and selling of the house, and we are moving in to my parents house, so we'll have help all around on both ends. I think you're right, the toddler will be harder than the newborn, but I think the combination of both will be what's really tough - stopping frequently to nurse and change the baby and also keeping track of the toddler and keeping her happy and out of trouble. I think the baby should do fine with the transition to a new place, but I'm sure it will take a while for my daughter to get used to a totally new schedule, house, state, people, room, etc. I need to make a list of things to keep unpacked with us during the transition so I don't forget about anything!

I'm here, but nothing going on. I'm 26 weeks and feeling great. We are going for a last minute trip to Disney World on Sunday. Just going to the Magic Kingdom for two days. Ds had his first haircut there and now dd needs her haircut. So a mom has to do what a mom has to do! I'm still a little nervous about all the walking since every time we've walked this week I get some serious tightening in my lower stomach. I assume it's Braxton Hicks.

I'm 5w0d. I talked to my REs office and the PA is going to order an ultrasound for next week. She said that they can usually see a HB by 6w2d, so I plan on scheduling the US later in the week so that I'm closer to 7w and will be able to see something for sure. This pregnancy still doesn't feel real. I'm hoping seeing something on the US will make it feel more like a reality.

This is what I had J in. The jets got me through the final contractions, I couldn't tell if I was feeling them or pain or what. But the key was pushing while sitting sideways so I could put my feet up and brace myself
MK, that water birth video from FB...does your hospital accommodate water births? Mine only has a jacuzzi, but you can't birth in it
And damn I hope I look like that girl. lol. (I know there's editing)
I tried a water birth with DD2. The warm water was really relaxing. I couldn't get into a comfortable enough position to actually give birth in the tub, though. My hospital had just gotten approved for a water birth trial, so I don't think my MWs had enough experience with it to help me.

Hmmm. That looks really similar to what I had...but my hospital said its not for birthing. Too small? I don't know. I know it was tight with me and mh in there-I couldn't get comfortable

This looks nice! Mine was just a blue temporary tub and didn't have any cool features.
