bookshelves I love the dress and think it looks great on you! I like the pumps with it but I'm admittedly not a shoe person so you may want to listen to other people's opinions on that regard.
I think it looks great bookshelves. I prefer it with the pumps.
armfruit - sign up for Kate Spade emails. Several times a year they have a 75% off sale and you can get killer deals. I bought several purses from them during the sale that I love and have used for years.
And bookshelves I mean this in the nicest not mean girl way possible... but if you have a padded/push up bra it would help with the proportions, I think. A slightly fuller chest would minimize the "pouf" of the skirt.
bookshelves - I LOVE that dress, and it looks great on you! I don't think the skirt is too poufy at all. I think the length is fine, and I get nervous about appropriateness for religious houses, too.
I'm going to be the dissenter here and say the shoes are a bit distracting for some reason - my mind really want them to be white so they "match", but that could just be my neurosis.
bookshelves I think the dress looks great! I agree that white shoes would be the best, but your pumps come in second place.
Can you ladies help me with my potential Easter outfit? I bought this skirt 2 years ago and haven't worn it yet so I feel like I should. Problem is I have no idea what top to wear with it.
So...tuck or no tuck for the white tank, and cardigan or jean jacket? Or neither and find something else to wear?
sjelwood that's a super cute skirt! I like the tank tucked, personally. The jacket and cardigan both work well with it. If you're wearing it to church, I'd go cardigan, if it's out to lunch or something like that, then jean jacket.
sjelwood I vote untucked but it's cute either way. I'm not sure if you're going to church but mine isn't formal at all so you'd be fine wearing either outfit either way.

bookshelves I think that dress looks great and another vote for the pumps over here. I think the structure of the material makes flats seem too casual.
Here's my interview outfit. It's poor lighting, but it's the best I have. Jackets don't work for me unless they're custom tailored- and there's no $ for that right now. The top was $5 @ JCPenny! The pants were more than 10x that. Lol.

Well it's Saturday and I finally had a cute outfit. I'm no good at selfies so I apologize. The dress is one of my favorite target finds. I'm not a shoe person but I fell in love with these.
