Hello my name is Wendy:) 1.) My DH and I got engaged after just one year of dating. We got married 5 months later, and we have been married since April 12,2014.(For our one year anniversary I am going to have a very big belly)
2.) I have 3 siblings, 2 sisters and 1 brother. All from the same parents.
3.) Our little girl will be my parents 4th granddaughter. (No grandsons yet. DH thinks my family is unable to produce boys lol)
1. A Facebook search of my first name only brings up one other person. (my name is completely made up, not sure what my parents were thinking)
2. I got a big fur boy named Chief. He currently weighs 165 pounds and is still filling out.
3. I'm the first generation in 3 through my father's line, where a female did not have fertility issues. Deciding to try for our first child was one of the most upsetting times for me knowing that fertility issues ran strong in the family. Although it turned out that I worried for nothing, I have a huge heart for women with fertility issues that are trying to conceive.
1. I met my husband online 15 years ago. I was in college in Ohio and he was in the Coast Guard in Texas. Online dating wasn't very accepted then so VERY few people know that is how we met.
2. My fingers are double jointed and tend to creep people out even when I'm not trying.
3. I have a love/hate relationship with zombies. I love movies and TV shows about them but I'm also terribly afraid of them in real life. I've decided I couldn't hang in a zombie apocalypse and just hope that it ends quickly for me.
1) I'm an extremely picky eater. So much so that my family, friends, and coworkers all know of my pickiness and make fun of me for it.
2) I'm pretty excited for the 50 shades movie and read lots of sexy romance books all the time. Smut lover right here.
3) I go to see animated movies in the theater and drag DH with me so I know what the heck my students are talking about all the time. If it's a big kids movie, odds are is that I've seen it.
I am super picky too! It's always a joke with my coworkers because I never order something without asking to leave things off or add things.

1. I am the youngest of 5 kids and the oldest is 21 years older than me. 2. My husband and I have the same birthday. 3. I broke my back when I was 18 as a result of not wearing my seatbelt. Wear your seatbelt kids!
1) I met DH by dating his roommate. Pulled off a roommate swap and it was definitely the right call!
2) We have a dog and cat, but our favorite pet by far is our tortoise. Low maintenance and surprisingly adorable.
3) I once swam across the SF Bay from Alcatraz (technically a ferry anchored near Alcatraz) as a part of a race. Glad I checked it off the bucket list - never doing that again!
1. I've been teaching high school math for 8 years and love it. This is my first year to teach AP statistics. Didn't know I would be pregnant and have to learn a completely new subject!
2. I have endometriosis. I didn't know it until we were TTC over 3 years ago. I had surgery to remove endo stuff and was told it would be really hard to get pregnant. Turns out I already was but it was too early to tell on bloodwork done prior to surgery.
3. I'm originally from San Antonio and love to watch Spurs basketball!

1) I love rodents and have two rats and a gerbil as pets. I used to have more gerbils, but sadly, have lost most of them due to old age. DH won't let me get any more pets for a while.
2) I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in school counseling.
3) I don't really like milk, but love all things cheese. I'm from Wisconsin, yo.
1) In the last year I joined my local beekeepers association, I have no bees but am the president of our group until 2017 because no one else would do it. 2) I have a hound dog named Ellie Mae who will turn 6 in May. 3) My younger sister and I are both pregnant. My first to her third in July.

1. I can walk on my hands. When I'm not pregnant, that is. Might be ugly if I tried it now. I am, however, still teaching an acrobatics class, even with the belly. 2. I do not, under any circumstances, eat foods that are colored blue. 3. One time, right after he became mildly famous for that "I Don't Wanna Be" song, Gavin DeGraw told me I was adorable.
1. I grew up in foster care, since I was three until 20. I moved from Boston to Atlanta to go to college and start over where people didn't know me. Did awesome in school, graduated and became part of the less than 2% of kids in care that do. 2. Went to college for forensics, pathologies and epidemiology because diseases are awesome. 3. I'm an idealist: I worked as an adoptions councilor for an animal rescue and did dog foster care, worked as a child advocate in Atlanta, worked in a cancer drug research lab in Boston and now I work in the private sector. I also had lunch with Jane Goodall while I was in college.

My husband and I have discussed our skills that would be helpful to each other as Team Badass for the potential zombie apocalypse...

1) I have a PhD. Professionally I'm a doctor, but not a medical doctor.
2) if you know my full name, it's very easy to find pictures of me online in skimpy/sexy outfits. You can also find me on IMDB (very small page, I am not a celeb)
3) I had whooping cough in high school. I couldn't complete the vaccine as a child because of a severe allergy. In addition to, well, science, this makes me go crazy over anti-vacers.
Really, the most interesting thing is how #1 and #2 have led me to lead a kind of duel life.
1. I'm pretty tough when it comes to humans but I cry at even the thought of sad animals. Those commercials are banned in my house. 2. For someone who wears scrubs every day and sweats when at home.... I own a stupid amount of clothes, shoes, etc. It's obscene. 3. I absolutely love to read. When I was little I'd read in the shower with my arm sticking out of the curtain so my book didn't get wet.

I hear you with #1. I get so nervous when a dog is featured in a movie because I'm convinced they will die.
1.) My parents are from Bolivia but we live like 20 minutes from the Mexican border, so everyone assumes my family is Mexican. It annoys the hell out of me. 2.) This baby is my wedding night baby which was a huge surprise. Our honeymoon was planned for 6 weeks after our wedding, so I spent weeks 6-8 of the first tri in Thailand. I was so sick with the smells over there, that when I came back, I would throw up if anyone even mentioned the word Thai. Lasted until week 15. 3.) I HATE the Khardasians but I can't help watching their show.

1. When I was 7, I stuck my finger up a bathroom hand dryer (I don't know what I was thinking). It didn't cut my finger off, but there was blood everywhere and I was screaming. I still have a round area on the tip of my finger. My fingernail was half hanging off.. Eventually fell off and another grew in. Dumbest thing ever!
2. I suffer from depression. I have only tried Zoloft for a few months and took myself off. Some days are better than others, but I fight it all the time!
3. I jumped off the Stratosphere in Las Vegas. 108 stories to the ground. YouTube it!!! This was a present to me from my fiancé for getting my nursing license.
1 DH and I went to high school in the same town and our schools were only 10 mins apart. He is a year older than I am. We knew a lot of the same people but our paths did not cross until I was a sophomore in college where he shared an apartment with a guy friend of mine. We didn't date until after I graduated from college.
2 I get asked almost weekly by random people if I am Filipino, they are usually shocked when I tell them I am 100% latino.
1: I am fluent in German 2: DH and I are aspiring homesteaders and I can't wait for the day when we can completely cancel any corporate electric service completely. 3. I was raised Mennonite, and 3 of my 4 grandparents were raised Amish
*must add: the Amish ancestry has nothing to do with my desire to live off the grid. I'm totally not religious.
1. I have one sister, four half brothers, three step brothers, and two step sisters. Yes, my family is a little like Jerry Springer. 2. In the six years since I have graduated from high school, I have moved eleven times, and lived in three different states (North Carolina, Georgia, and Colorado). 3. I have worked at three major coffee chains. The Human Bean, Caribou Coffee, and was the cafe manager at Joe Muggs in Books-a-Million for a while. I'm obsessed with coffee.

1. I was a very overweight/chubby little girl growing up. It wasn't till I was in grade 11/12 that I started loosing weight. I lost over 80 pounds and have kept it off! (haha well now that I'm pregnant, obviously I have been gaining a few pounds.) People don't believe me today when I tell them that I used to be pretty heavy.
2. My DH was my first and only boyfriend. He is the only guy I have ever been with.
3. I have double jointed hands. I can bend my fingers completely back.

1. This LO will be my grandmothers (on my dads side) 20th great grand child, she will be 90 in February.
2. I was raised by my grandmother on my dads side, since I was 2 months old, due to my mother's Schizophrenia. I am considered her 9 th child, my dad was the oldest of 8.
3. I met DH on a dating website, We had previously chatted online 5 years before that when I would randomly message people on AOLIM.
1. I was a vegetarian growing up and didn't have a hamburger until I was 17. Now I eat meat, but still could live without it. 2. A few years ago I was a production assistant at NYFW-one of the most memorable experiences of my life so far. 3. I haven't traveled outside the USA yet(besides Canada, which is mere minutes from me).

1. I was born and raised in the city. Now I live in the middle of nowhere and enjoy homesteading.
2. I love animals and reading. I was seriously that kid who would drag stray dogs home. It's looking like my DD is the same way, I'm hoping she can talk DH into a pony.
3. DH and I were a blind date set up by his sister. It was sort of a joke on her part. She never thought we would hit it off. I was a bookworm, going to collage to get a degree in English with a passion for working in libraries. He was a backwoods man who you could barely coax into civilization. He loves hunting, demolition derby and just being out in nature. After 3 dates I knew he was the man I wanted to marry. We never looked back after our first date.
I just realized I'm not a super interesting person lol,
1. I was very accident prone as a child but I have never broken a bone. My parents called me "bouncy". Nail through the foot, my lip split open like a V, ran into the tailgate of a truck, and I just got up and kept going. I'm hoping our LO has my pain tolerance.
2. DH and I have lived within 15 minutes walking distance of one another for our whole lives, knew some of the same people growing up, but never met until we were 17. We both had a rough go up until roughly that time in our lives and feel that if we had met before, it probably wouldn't have worked out. It feels like fate kept us apart until we were ready to meet (such cheese).
3. My current dream job is to be a business consultant. John Taffer (Bar Rescue) is my hero right now. My dream job changes at least annually.
1. My baby picture was on the packages for Evenflo products for 12 years. That's my one claim to fame and it happened when I was 6 months old
2. My son is almost 2 and still wakes up at least 2x a night and it usually takes at least an hour each time to get him back down. At least I'm prepared to face the newborn stage again in May!
3. I am a high school chemistry teacher and love my job. My students are great and I love my subject.
