When pregnant with DD I took spring valley PNV without issues. Nowadays every time I take them I get constipated same with natures bounty... I was thinking maybe trying gummy prenatals in hopes I wouldn't have the same problem??? Anyone take gummy PNV?? If so what kind? TIA!
I take Garden of Life's Vitamin Code RAW prenatal, and I love it. It has probiotics in it, which helps a ton with any digestive issues. It also has ginger in it, for the morning sickness I'll hopefully have one day.

Do you eat a lot of fiber? I do, but I always need extra depending on where I am in my cycle. So I'll take some fiber pills. You take 6 if you need to go, so it acts like a gentle laxative. But I'll take one or two nightly and it helps keep me regular.

I've never taken fiber before but I never have a problem with being regular until I start taking the vitamins again. It's so frustrating. But that might be worth looking into, thank you! Thank you all for the input
I started taking probiotics about a year ago and it has made a HUGE difference in regularity. When I forget or run out, I always notice a difference in how I feel -- more gassy, bloated, or constipated on occasion -- I will never go back! So many other benefits too, I highly recommend.

I second the use of probiotics. I've always had wicked indigestion, and the probiotics make a huge difference. I take one pill a day, at the same time as my PNV - I take Natures Maid or Natures Bounty or something in both the Probiotic and Prental
I also take a second multi vitamin with B complex and Iodine because there were some recent studies that said Iodine should be added to prenatals.
And CoQ10
I take them all at the same time. No stomach issues.
Once I run out of my current stash I think I'm going to switch to these prenatals because they combine 3 of my 4 pills into one:

I just switched to Spring Valley gummies and I love them. They taste so good! I was taking Vita Fusion gummies previously but they have a bit of an aftertaste.
I take the gummies. Either Vita Fusion or Target brand. Whichever store I am at is the deciding factor.
I made the mistake of buying the Target brand Pre-natal support vitamins. Those are just calcium and fiber. And they were nasty as fuck. Don't be dumb like me, read the label

Don't forget a calcium supplement too, y'all. Especially if you take prenatals instead of a multi. Most prenatals only have 15 - 20% of RDV, because calcium interferes with iron absorption and it's easier to source calcium in daily foods. But lots of people don't realize they aren't getting enough through their vitamins/supplements.
Take your calcium supplement (bonus if it's a vit D supplement too, for absorption) at a different time than your prenatal or multi for best absorption all around.

This! I take probiotics every day through my naturopath. I also take vital nutrients prenatal, which are DF/GF, and good for the MTHFR ladies who need methylated folate.
