The third stage of labor thread got me thinking about this and I wanted to share just in case anyone is interested.
I met with my doula and told her I had another anterior placenta. Because my last baby was malpositioned and it *might* have been caused by an anterior placenta, she gave me a few exercises to do to make sure this baby is in optimal position for birth. We still have plenty of time left, but it's good to get in the habit of doing these daily.
30 second inversion
Pelvic rock - the link is for a pelvic tilt, but instead of lifting your upper back, just tilt your hips/pelvis. These can be done at night before bed. Go pee, then do about 60 pelvic rocks, then pee again. The tilting can lift the baby off your bladder so you can get that last bit of urine out and might avoid at least one of your night time pee sessions.
Squats - self explanatory.
