My potential beer of the night. It's Dr. Doom and it says Let me drink in the sounds of these Special Herbs!
ETA: Forgot picture.
Why "potential"? Drink it!
MH couldn't remember what the beer was like, and there is no description on the bottle. So I had to google before we opened it to make sure I would like it. I am happy to report we will be drinking it shortly.
But but... How does this happen? How do you not have more than one night's supply? This gives me anxiety.
That is a very good question. Clearly a problem I need to remedy. Is Trader Joe's wine arsenic-free yet? I should stock up. But my refrigerator is teeny; wine is more important than food, yes?
You mean your favoUrite? I am Canadian lol you can be my favOrite though
You totally just reminded me of my old supervisor. She is from Canada so obviously she also uses the weird U's like you. I was the first person she had ever supervised. So as part of our protocol I would give her service plans to review. The plans would be fine except that she kept noting that I had spelled Favorite and Color wrong . It took me two months to convince her that both spellings were correct.
Aw yeah! I finally finished the rotation from hell on Tuesday. Yesterday I started a more laid back rotation. To celebrate, DH is taking me out to dinner tonight. And he's the DD!
So I am currently enjoying a lovely adult beverage called "cherry limeade". And I'm getting crab legs for dinner. I am one happy camper!

A few things here, Mrs. Mell Brooks, or Smells Books, or whoever you are!
1. Yes. Obviously.
2. Red wine does not need to be refrigerated, okay? Diversify.
3. I highly recommend the Trader Joe's Reserve over the (now more than)two-buck chuck. For a mere $2 more, it is a decent wine. I don't know where you live, but it's $5.49 here. I find that very reasonable. They also have a fabulous assortment of wines at the $6.99 and $7.99 price point, and no, none of my personal preferences have been found on the arsenic list. I like the Dark Horse brand and am always game to try things featured on the Fearless Flyer.
4. Way more whites and rose/blush wines were on that arsenic list, so second reason I highly recommend adding red to your repertoire if you haven't already.

Did I mention... that I have friends... in loooooow places???
I love Justin's life. I kinda want it.
*pours one out for younger, hotter Garth*
Man... If I'd know the thai place across the street from my office was going to take TWENTY-FIVE minutes to have my pad thai ready, I would have ordered it before I did my floor walkthrough.
Now I have to sit here for longer. The dogs are NOT going to be happy with me when I get home.

ILY for giving such a serious, in-depth answer to this question.

The TJ Reserve Merlot is one of my recent favorites, to be sure. Red is a with-dinner choice for me more often than not, but I'll choose white every time if I'm couch sipping.
