I'm with everyone else with the "holy shit" reaction. I'm glad you went into the hospital because that sounds quite serious. Lots of prayers are coming your way!

Who even knew??? Now I have to go google. Feel better, thank god you went in when you did, and enjoy the medically enforced rest! I certainly hope the folks in your life really pamper you for awhile like you deserve
Oh wow. Glad to hear they have correctly diagnosed you this time and that you're on the mend! Get some rest, it sure sounds like a really scary condition. Is this an one time illness thing or is there going to be numerous follow up care?

There's going to be lots of follow up. Hopefully they caught it early enough that I don't have to be on meds for the rest of my life.

I hope so! Also hope this doesn't prevent you from being healthy when pregnant in the future (if you're not one and done). Have you gotten to see Leilyn? Is she allowed to visit in the critical care unit?

The doctors have been nice enough to let her come up a few times a day. The cardiologist just left and he said it won't be a good idea for me to have more children with this condition. I didn't hear anything else he said. I'm pretty heartbroken about it.

I really really hope you can revisit this conversation in the future when (hopefully) your condition is under good control. But either way I'm so glad you're getting good care so you can enjoy many many years with your family. Keeping you in my prayers.
