laur - i'm late here but wanted to tell you I love the shirt, I think I actually have the same one from ON so I may be bias. You have inspired me however to wear them with my joy pants.
I'm in a craptastic mood today. I haven't remembered to take my allergy meds for the past few days because DH 'cleaned' and put then in the cupboard - if I don't see them, I don't remember to take them; that bottle has to stay on the island. Last night he opened the windows in lieu of AC - I didn't think anything of this, but then I woke up this morning with a swollen throat, eyes almost puffed shut and feeling like my sinuses have been stuffed with acid-laced cotton balls. Ffun. I burned my oatmeal and halfway through choking it down I realized that maybe I'm not even allowed to eat oatmeal?? Is it chametz? I'm still so fuzzy on the rules and that's made me crankier.
Oh, and DH has the day off today, so I don't see my mood improving.
Blahhhhh. I'll probably feel better once I get my shower and coffee when DD naps. Carry on
Good morning ladies! I'm back from my parents' house and missed talking to you guys. I tried to read every night to catch up so hopefully I saw all of the important stuff. Our trip was good, though we didn't get to have our meetup with boogerbear because her poor kiddos were sick, so that was a bummer. We'll catch you next time boogerbear (and maybe bookshelves too, nudge nudge).
Then our Easter was good (and quieter than usual which was nice), though I was disappointed that we couldn't get a good family picture. I don't know how you get such great family photos mevaroo! Your pics on IG were lovely and you have even more people to wrangle than we do. No matter how much we try, someone is always looking away or closing their eyes or making a face. It makes me crazy!
Now we're back to our regular routine today. I'm nervous because DH is supposed to be talking to the company owner about his pay (again) today. I want to believe they'll make it right but I'm afraid they won't. It's really stressing me out. So if you could send up some thoughts and prayers for that today, it would be appreciated.
Hi guys! We had a great time at the wedding, and there were a few other pregnant ladies do I want the only sober one. Hotel sleep was ok...but dh kept getting up because he over indulged...therefore waking me up. Lo was adorable collecting eggs at Easter. My mom did decide to dress her in a new Easter dress instead of the one I brought for her but what evs. I also have no idea what she fed her but the poops have been awful!
I have two days to get our life togetherness and then head back south to hunt for a place to live and celebrate Passover with dhs family. Better late than never! Hopefully in a few days we will have a place to live and a moving date.
Ahhh, ok. Thank you!!! Google was failing me, plus it was already too late.
If you do the thing where you put oatmeal in a jar with milk in fridge overnight I think you're ok on a tecnicality.
And I think considering oats leavened by steamed milk or water is on the more conservative side of the rules.
Thank you . In retrospect I really should have prepared better for this week, I just had no idea. I wrote down a bunch of questions in my notebook to ask the rabbi when we meet next.
This would not have been an issue if DH had not eaten all.the.damn.eggs this morning.
caer- Good luck! That is very exciting! I didn't post in your other thread because I have no experience, but that is something I have always wanted to do.

Oh! Here's a true random. We've been eyeing play kitchens for awhile, and our neighbors just set their play kitchen out on the curb with the garbage. It's in perfect condition. Score!
I feel so thrifty but really I'm just one step away from dumpster diving.
Thanks for all the input, ladies! You're the best!
wildflowers, I'm thinking I'll make them car seat/stroller blankets (in the interest of time!). I did cream for the boys' blankets and it's held up really well, even with all of B's tummy issues from the allergy. Those blankets have been washed a lot, but I do baby blankets in acrylic so they can be easily cleaned.
This is one of the blankets I did for the boys and they still look awesome:
I do know what you mean, though. I think I would do the darker colour for the ribbing and then stripe the cream through to avoid it getting dingey, but this yarn is pretty good for wear and tear.
