I get a little light headed from time to time gdaisy09.
I'm okay today. I went to bed at 845 last night after feeling sick and exhausted all day. Today I'm still fighting the bloat and have a headache, but that's about it. Oh, my boobs hurt, as always
Boobs no longer feel sore, but it's been replaced by low level nausea when I get too hungry and being super emotional. Yesterday morning I cried at a sappy music video which is something I don't normally respond to.
Then, at work, something upsetting but not a huge deal happened and I was fighting back tears in front of some of the floor nurses (I NEVER cry at work, ever) and I even blurted out "I'm sorry, I'm pregnant and I think I'm overly emotional right now" which I'm so mad at myself for saying! It's not a floor I normally work on and I don't know those nurses at all, but now I'm afraid it's going to get out if they say something to other therapists in my department I've been kicking myself for this all night if you can't tell...

physiomeg, don't stress! I would feel the same way, but brush it off and try not to worry about it.
The lower back pain I experienced a few day ago is now thankfully gone, leaving me with sore boobs, exhaustion, and nausea. Also feeling little zings and zips (don't kow how else to describe it) in my ute.
I cried at the end of Frozen last night while watching it with DD. I am doing pretty good so far today. A little nausea but it wenr away after I ate. The evening tends to be when my symptoms really show up.

The insomnia followed by the weirdest dreams was the worst thing last night. I don't even know where some of these things are coming from!
gdaisy09 are you feeling dizzy/lightheaded all the time or after doing something? I was feeling that way when Id carry my DS around. My OB said I was probably doing too much at once right now and try to limit how much I carry and walk with him.

Omg, physiomeg, we must have been sharing a brain yesterday. I was having a rough day at work yesterday, and I just started bawling in front of my paralegals and they're trying to calm me down and talking about hiring another attorney so I have some help and I just blurted out "they're going to have to do that soon because I'm pregnant!" *welp*

Went to bed so early again last night! But other than that the only thing is the constant merry go round that is drinking water and peeing every two minutes.
I feel pretty good today. If it wasn't for these damn boobs and my constant need to eat anything within an arm's length, I wouldn't even know I was pregnant. (and the peeing and thirst, I almost forgot about those stupid things)
I think I am going to have to go purchase a new bra this week. Current bra is barely holding up its end of the bargain.

I really need a new bra, too! Are you just going to go up a size or buy a specific bra? I don't really want to keep replacing bras every few months.
gdaisy09, I definitely get bouts of dizziness. Totally normal. Drink water and rest. I try to sit down when it comes on.
Increase in peeing, MS from hell. Nausea is sooo bad today. It makes standing/walking difficult. My office mate just ate an innocuous bagel with peanut butter and I was gagging at my desk so bad. Today is going to be special.

I went to Nordstrom and got fitted about 8/9 weeks pregnant (granted I am larger chested- 34DD at beginning of pregnancy, now a 34H- and it's hard to find my size in most stores). I was already up a cup size! The sales woman advised that I buy one cup size larger than I currently needed. So glad I did. I definitely grew into it. Also note that you may need a larger band size as pregnancy continues and your rib cage expands. I think my bras stretched out with me, but I know that can be an issue for some (sometimes you can get a bra extender which will do the trick).

I think this time I might just go up in size to something that I can comfortably wear on the tightest hooks and move as I get a bit bigger. Later I will look at maternity/nursing bras. That is unless someone with more knowledge than me (and let's be honest, that is most people on this subject) has better ideas. And I really welcome those ideas at this point! I am fairly large chested and only really feel comfortable in Victoria's Secret bras...that's too much fucking money to keep replacing bras.
Well... a wave of nausea hit this morning. It's here a little earlier than last time.
Just popped a B6 and chewing ginger gum. Urrrgh.
And my coffee tasted bad this morning. I had a coffee aversion last time through my WHOLE pregnancy. It just tasted awful and sour. So that's happening again.
Glad this baby is growing and wreaking havoc on my body

Same old, same old. I've been waking up to pee overnight. I didn't miss that. Sleep was better last night than the night before, but damned if I'm not feeling very sleepy right now. Some mild heartburn last night. This morning, I was dry-heaving again and brushing my teeth made me gag. I ate breakfast quickly so it's just background nausea. Boobs are tender, but not especially sore. Now and then, there will be some mild aching or shooting pain, but not terrible. No more cramping to speak of, which I suppose is good, just some mild stretching.
I am definitely much more emotional and short-tempered. Meditations have helped with stress and consuming worry, at least a little. I'm not quite ready to start any pregnancy meditations yet, but my stress meditations have helped.
I don't know if this goes here or in randoms, but anyone else having an aversion to meat? What aversions are you having? What's going down ok?
My list as of now: carbonated beverages, anything sweet (some bread is too sweet!), meat, pasta with tomato sauce, most vegetables, coffee, and apparently peanut butter
Approved list: raisin bran cereal with milk, oyster crackers (sort of, more out of necessity), cheetos or sour cream and onion pringles, french fries/hashbrowns/baked potatoes, and most fruit.

I'm not having food aversions yet, but some strong smells make me want to vom. DH had breakfast sandwich with sausage this morning, and the smell of the sausage was more than I could handle! Thankfully, when I told the RE this morning how nauseous I've been the last few days, he sent me home with a prescription for diclegis. Has anyone tried that, and did it help?
manderslvt, I have a friend that took it and swore by it her first tri. It's basically just a prescription form of the recommended unisom and B6. I am going to ask about it at my first MW appointment to take at night/and keep with zofran during the day. It is a little tricky to take it if you are nursing because it can cause your nursling to be drowsy or irritable.

Cool, I didn't realize that's what it is. I'm looking forward to trying it tonight. I still haven't actually vomited, but I was up for a couple of hours during the night feeling nauseous.
I'm a little sad about the fact that my nursling is no longer a nursling. We weaned a little over a month ago, because I was on fertility meds. I was mostly ready to stop, and he was only nursing once a day or less, but I miss it now. I'm looking forward to nursing the new baby!

manderslvt, Diclegis (or Diclectin in Canada) is used very commonly here in Canada. We don't use Zofran routinely. It's very well tolerated and works magic. I hope it helps you!

Don't you love how random this is??!! LOL
Yes! Lunch meats in particular, turkey and salami. The smell of them makes me gag. And my coffee tastes bitter as shit. And berries taste like tonic water.
On another note, the nausea kicked up big time today. I woke up feeling queasy, just finished my breakfast, and now I feel worse. Aargh!! 247 more days, 247 more days.......
ETA: oh, and apparently tap water now. I'm picking up something really bitter in that too.

It may have been the vitamin on an empty stomach, but I had a bout of nausea this morning. It only lasted a few minutes and hasn't been back. I woke up in the middle of the night again, but that's starting to become the norm.

No outright aversions yet, per se, but definitely stuff that doesn't go down as well or that I definitely Do Not Want at that moment, which may be fine later.
What is helping keep nausea at bay/staying down so far: sour stuff (pickles, esp - I remember lemon hard candies helping too). Cold fountain Cokes (I hate Coke pretty much any other time). Bland carbs - crackers, flour tortillas, toast, probably mashed potatoes.
Right now I've got that awful feeling of food stuck in your esophagus, like it's waiting to come back up. Blech.

byjove, I'm having food adversions in general....I don't want anything lol
I'm feeling pretty normal today, no cramping since the night before last. Had an appointment to "confirm" pregnancy yesterday, which was just a pee test and talking to the nurse.
