Dr appt this afternoon = me getting stuck in L&D again for another procedure! I am heading back soon to the OR again.....

I just want to scream!!!!

trixi282, I am so sorry! You stomp your feet, scream and say as many ugly words as you want! This is hard. You have every right to want to scream. You have handled all of this more graceful than I (and many others) ever would have handled it. No one will think anything of you having a moment of frustration or whatever else you feel! You are being an awesome Mom already to this Nugget!

Nugget, you better be an easy going child who is a great sleeper and who always wants to please your Momma!

I will be watching out for your update.. hope it is a good one!

UPDATE:

The procedure went really well. Magically Nugget moved just enough between leaving her office, walking to L&D, and getting into the OR!

She did a quick position check and then whispered "No one talk, I don't want this little Turkey to move!"

This, I think, was by far my fastest procedure (no complaints here) and until it was over the pain wasn't too horrible. After though, I can tell 3 procedures this week has certainly taken a toll... I feel like I was in a street fight and was punched in the stomach.... But I've never actually been punched in the stomach, so I'm guessing this is what it feels like. My belly is pretty sore all along the right side and tender on the surface too from pokes and earlier in the week manipulations.

Sorry I couldn't update sooner, when I got back to my room I updated H (who was stuck in traffic), and our parents, and after all of the texting and calls beforehand, my battery was at 1%! It died not long after H got to the hospital....

To add more pin pricks to my already swiss cheese body, I also got my Tdap in the office today, and I'm getting another (4th) round of steroid shots... So my arm and butt on my left side were/are sore too. Why not, right? I have to head back up to the hospital to get a second steroid shot, and get my car today... Its a good thing I don't have a strong aversion to needles!

Thank you for all of your support. This week has been the worst week ever, but you all have helped me bear this burden yet again. My family has been fantastic and I'm so glad we're home during all of this, but you all add a other level of support that is hard to describe.
