How are the rest of the Jan15 new mommies and mommies-to-be?

I'm doing okay. It is so hard managing a sick toddler around a newborn and I hate that I don't have as much one on one time with him. It has been an adjustment for both of us, but overall we are doing okay. DD has an infected tear duct and a diaper rash which has me a little stressed out as well. I know it seems trivial, but it feels like it is hard to stay on top of everything sometimes.

So far BF has been going well and I've been able to get at least one good stretch of sleep every night. My friends have been bringing food and DH has been helping out a lot which has made things easier. I would be lying if I said I wasn't looking forward to having the newborn period behind us though. I wish I enjoyed this stage more. But it is worth it in the end.

I have lost my patience. I was doing so well for so long! Then I had my membranes swept (was 1 cm dil 75% eff) and EDD was Friday. Been experiencing early signs of labor but contractions aren't amounting to anything. I want this baby out now! It's the lower back pain that has me frustrated. But at least there is progress. My next appt is Friday for a nst/us/prenatal exam. I hope I won't need to make it!

I'm also surviving. LO is now 6 days old and is pretty much just latched on 24 hours a day (or so it feels like). I've had some episodes of crying (me, not LO) which has been freaking me out because they come out of no where. It's so scary to be responsible for this little baby!

Question .. I thought we had a "baby blues" check in on TB from before I had LO... Is this something we might do here? I would be super interested in this. Having a baby is hard'!

We can definitely do that you can run it if you want! Or someone else may want to if you don't.
