I am 5 weeks, 3 days. I am trying to take it one day at a time, which works to a degree. I am still highly aware of every twinge, but I reminding myself that every pregnancy is different and this one feels different than the last. I am very tired all the time, nausea is becoming a bit more frequent, I am very moody (poor H), and I am peeing a lot.
QOTW: I seem to be very into lemonade and greasy burgers and fries or spicy food.
Hugs. I'm glad this pregnancy feels different than the last one. When is your first u/s?
Next Wednesday. I will be 6w, 4d (Or 6+3 if we go by ovulation) so hopefully we will see a heartbeat.
Well I think I missed last weeks checkin. I'm not sure if I mentioned that I got my results back. Results came back negative for Trisomy 13, 18, 21. Gender came back inconclusive, which is ok because I did not want to give any more blood, lol. I am 14W3D. I have an appointment within the next two weeks, u/s. I think I've escaped MS. Only actually threw up twice. I thought when you reach 2nd trimester the nausea was suppose to go, haha. I still have morning and evening nausea.
QOTW: I do not have a go to food. I still have aversions to my favorites; spinach and sweet potatoes. Really aversions to vegetables . -to top it off I'm vegan. Do you know how bad I miss my vegetables. I have been hooked on Strawberry Lemonade Gatorade. That's about it.
So, I'm 14-15weeks? I'm losing track of time this time around. Things are chugging along. Typical start to 2nd trimester in that I am feeling better, much less tired and the return of my libido . DH is very happy. Now if we could just keep DD from wanting to come into our room everyother night
Food cravings fluctuate...sometimes I still feel like nothing sounds good, other times anything sounds ok. But, mostly I am still craving ice cream, and milk. So, my body probably needs calcium. A bit bizarre since I take a multivitamin with calcium and a separate calcium supplement.
Glad your libido is back. I think some women aren't that lucky. My midwife had to stop and think when I asked her if we should stop having sex when my I developed high blood pressure. Guess that isn't a factor for most people in the third trimester.
This time around I am definitely taking advantage of it! It was great all they way up to delivery of DD. I had no idea it would disappear again until the return of AF almost 10 MONTHS postpartum. I knew the delievery would obviously put a break on things, I understood sleep deprivation would play a roll as well, but had no idea that breastfeeding and hormones (at least for me) would make sex essentially impossible for almost a year.

I didn't realize that we are basically duedate twins. Nice to have someone here at the exact same spot Great news on your test results. I know I breathed a sigh of relief when ours came back last week. Funny thing I had a thing for Orange Gatorade until just a few weeks ago when that suddenly stopped.
