What up nausea my old pal. I think this nausea is more because with spring comes amazing allergies and post nasal drip. Cool. I thought I was in the clear on the whole barfing aspect of pregnancy.
@littlechivette, it sounds like you have a great attitude about it all- remain positive! Here's to hoping it's just a false alarm. My new mantra with pregnancy is,"everything is out of my control." Keep us posted girl!
I am exhausted this morning, prob from trying to sleep on a different side to get this little girl out of the transverse position and in to head down. I'm also right with the spring allergy crew- very sleepy eyes.
Ugh...I slept like complete shit lastnight between heartburn, DS refusing to sleep in his bed and DH's snoring. Pelvic pain and heartburn this morning is awful. I just want to be in my sweatpants and not at work.
So last night was the crappiest night of sleep I've had in a long time! I couldn't get comfortable in bed--my back really felt like it needed a good cracking and massage but H's massaging just didn't do it. So I went to the couch and watched some tv, decided I was hungry and had a piece of chicken breast and some string cheese lol. Finally got to sleep around 12:30 and then snoozed my alarm for half an hour this morning and tossed and turned the whole time because my hips were killing me. That's the first time I've experienced hip pain and I think it's because I wasn't sleeping with my bumpnest pillow--not doing that again!
So I was extra tired today and stopped at Safeway to get Starbucks and bring bagels in to work to thank my coworkers for the baby shower last week (and to hopefully give me some fuel for the morning).
On a happier note I got to hold my newborn nephew yesterday and OMG!!! I can not wait for this little baby to get here!!! I can't remember when I last held a newborn! I forgot how tiny they really are!! DD is five and I didn't get to hold her much until she was around 3 months old! So it's been over 5 years for me and just squee!!!!! I can't wait to hold my own little itty baby!!!!
@littlechivette I hope everything goes well at your appointment!
I'm doing okay today even after a not so great night of sleep. I'm now starting to get too hot at night and DH and I are having a house temperature battle. Grr. He did bring me a bagel for breakfast today though which was sweet. Other than that, just lots of aches in my hip/groin area.
I'm also determined to get out all of my baby shower thank you notes today! I've done all of the ones from my work shower and will tackle the family/friends shower next.
I am tired tired tired. No matter when I go to bed, I'm not sleeping well. I didn't nap after work yesterday hoping is sleep better last night, but that was a big fat no. Can't get comfy and I lay awake for long stretches of time.
Also, baby must have shifted because I am NOT hungry today. I just can't eat. I forced myself to finish my pasta, but I feel so full I couldn't eat anything else. Blech.

Add me to the crappy sleep last night. H is out of town this week, and I always sleep bad the first night he's gone. I'm starting to really overheat at night too. I just can't get comfortable. Add to that crazy SPD because I keep doing too much, and today is pretty sucky.

@littlechivette I hope you get some good news at your appt today! I think you're handling the situation so calmly!
I feel tired again today. Woke up numerous times when I was trying to change positions last night because my hips hurt and I was hot. I'm thankful I have a shorter/less intense day at work today.

no leg pains last night! but my diet was crazy weird yesterday to try to prevent it--- 3 bananas, coconut water, a 32oz bottle of gatorade, raisin bran (12%of rda of potassium, who would've thought it??).
anyway, I did some stretching before bed too.
Other than tiredness and heartburn, nothing to report.
@jemomma,Yesterday, during the ultrasound, she moved from transverse to breech and then back to transverse for my check up. Active little thing! The OB told me there were a few exercises that were "old wives tales" and to take it as it is, but they actually have success in some women. One of them being to get on your hands and knees with your butt in the air, and stay like that 10-15 min 3xs a day. I looked up a couple of positions on Spinning Babies last night.
She didn't say anything sleep wise, but I always sleep on my left side and that's the side her head is on, so I thought, maybe I'll switch to my right and see what happens.
Even though the doctor reassured me that there is still plenty of time to move, it still has me worried, especially when the doctor threw out "c section" if she doesn't move. And yes, I agree, transverse is VERY uncomfortable, especially when they move around.

@littlechivette, hope everything checks out with your MW!
Add me to the can't breathe club! Ugh! It got so bad last night, I got up at 3 am to check my blood pressure, convinced I had preeclampsia. (Of course it was normal and I am a SS.
@littlechivette losing my mucus plug this early would freak me out even if it is normal for it to regenerate itself. I am glad you are so calm and hopefully your MW appointment goes okay.

I got ok sleep last night but this 3rd trimester is no joke! I can feel myself slowing down and having to do less than Id like to be able to...shopping for hours just isn't as fun as it used to be:( Appt tomorrow and I'm hoping they'll give me an ultrasound so I can know which way baby is laying! Last night it felt like she was trying to come out from right under my right side ribs, ouch!
I didn't sleep well last night but only partly because of being pregnant. Today I'm having so much pelvic pressure it actually makes me anxious. I'm rather positive this baby can't "drop" because it already hurts and feels "full" if I try to put my legs together. I didn't feel that way with DD until about 2 weeks before she came and even then it wasn't this bad.
Had stabbing pain in my mid-right side of my abdomen. Twice. It was so bad I had to lay on my left and stretch out while trying not to freak out. Pretttttty certain it's just a poop situation because after that I was able to pass some. If it returns I'll be back to freaking out.
My lower back is super sore/weak feeling and my lower belly feels heavy and crampy. Drinking water and resting.
So I now have these lovely burst blood vessels all over my belly (webmd image) and it looks ridiculous.
I had a meltdown last night over how my belly looks. I know it doesn't matter, and I would take it all and more for my baby, but my belly is hideous. I wish I could be one of those women with the beautiful bellies and perfect skin. Instead, my belly is sooooo shiny because it is COVERED in stretch marks. I have no belly button at all. Not popped, not little, like nothing is there, except it is all black and blue where it should be, and by my nasty old piercing holes which look hideous. And now I have these nasty red starbursts all over my belly. It's seriously so so ugly and last night it really got to me.

My doctor said those are pretty common because I have them all over my chest and a few small ones in my face. Burst capillaries or something! I hate them!!!
Pelvic pain, pressure, sharp stabbing pain, period like cramps, random BH, and my back is done. I never get relief. Ever. No matter how I sit, stand, lay, I always feel SOMETHING uncomfortable. When baby girl moves it's even worse. I can't sleep on my sides too long because my hips and pelvic area hurt SO BAD I can barely move & I can't sleep on my back too long because I can't friggin breathe!
This moderate bed rest & pelvic rest sucks because the nesting has kicked in...it sucks wanting to do so much & can't. Everyone seems to think she's going to be a May baby...honestly, I'm starting to agree.

Yes ! All the pelvic back and hip pain!! It sucks sooooo bad!! Can't sleep or roll over without almost screaming in pain! That sucks you have to stay in bed! So uncomfortable! I hope you can find some relief some way!

Yep. I've woken up in tears many times the past few weeks trying to roll over. Poor DH doesn't sleep either because of me

I was wondering how you were doing. I am the same. This baby is huge. He has been measuring 3-4 weeks ahead for months. Went to the doc last night and he is over 5 lbs. I know this can be +/- a lb but still freaking scary considering I will be 30 weeks tomorrow. Either my EDD is off, got pregnant on the pill, or this baby is going to be over 10 lbs. Both frighten me. Feels like everything is just going to fall out at this point.

Welp as I mentioned in HDBD I barfed multiple times whilst trying to shop with my sister yesterday. I was looking for bras that fit around my newly engorged torso so I can perhaps STOP BARFING IN PUBLIC! After falling onto the floor in the bra section, my sister carried me to the register, where I puked in a bag while asking to use the employee restroom. When I exited the restroom, which was pleasantly plastered with handwritten signs saying things like "ladies, please stop being DISGUSTING" and "girls, let's clean up after ourselves and stop leaving our bathroom so NASTY" the woman at the register proceeded to feel the need to go on an on to me about how she went through all three of her pregnancies without ever experiencing nausea... like REALLY lady?? I almost said some very rude shit but somehow managed something along the lines of "I have a hard time not saying something rude to you right now" and walked out of the store lol! It was such a terrible experience. This after spending Saturday night into Sunday in the hospital receiving IV fluids because I was so dehydrated from not keeping anything down. Needless to say, I am over this shit right about now! Come on June!!!

Been trying ALL week not to cry. Sunday I was proud and only teared up at that labor video, nothing at work set me off, and then I watch that adorable video! Oh well. Haha so minus feeling the need to cry ALL the time and the occasional heartburn I am doing pretty well. Tired. Baby E keeps his/her foot in my rib as a constant hello. Haha

Yeah, this baby is big too. She's following in her brother's footstep and my dream of a VBAC is slowly disappearing the bigger she gets...

I was finally sleeping last night after several nights of awful sleep, when my son started a horrible coughing fit that sounded like he was throwing up, so I ran in there to check on him and then couldn't get back to sleep afterward. And then he threw up this morning. Of course he did, because we're leaving for vacation at the ass crack of down tomorrow and it wouldn't possibly be a vacation if he didn't get sick immediately prior.
Also, I have the hunger. I started eating dinner before 5pm.
@littlechivette, thinking of you girl! You really do have a great attitude...stay positive and keep cooking that baby!
pbubblegum, be that wife. I have made it my goal to NEVER be that wife and have done pretty well up till now. Well, DH was away from Wed-Sun last week for his brother's bachelor party and then he just told me that his best friend from high school wants him to go down to VA for his birthday next weekend. I completely, embarassingly burst into ugly tears and went through several rounds of "Please don't leave again". DH was, of course, totally cool about it and said he wasn't going to go anyway but I'm pretty sure that was a lie because what else could you say to your crying pregnant wife? I suck...but at least I'm not sad lol.
Symptoms: heartburn (raging hellfire the past 2 days), a never-ending back ache, sleepless nights, and the inability to breathe. I want to punch the people who tell me about how much they loved being pregnant.

I picked up Subway for supper yesterday because DH had to stay late for a meeting. I totally ate it before five! I'm so glad I'm not the only one.
