I have wood ceramic in my bathroom (hardwoods almost everywhere else) and I love it. It's a light gray color so doesn't try too hard to look like wood, just kind of a smooth textured tile really. I thought I would hate it (I'm usually in the traditional camp and like farmhouse type style), but in the right space I think it's awesome. It's so durable (all my wood has nicks and scrapes from dogs) and I don't know what they did for grout but I do know they added a sealant and I don't see any discoloration. It is a really small space and I can see that it might look less good in a bigger space.

I want to replace our entire downstairs with the wood ceramic. Easier maintenance and they look good these days. Just stick to very thin grout lines or abut the tile.

We had installed ceramic plank tile put in our kitchen in November. We got a darker tile and used a darker grout. It looks really nice. It almost looks like wood too.

We are having faux-wood tile put in the house we are building. We love it because of the variations in color and the look, but we get the durability of tile. It was actually more expensive than real wood though, ugh.
