Thinking of you anonymouseliza. I'm keeping my fingers crossed tht it's just normal spotting.
After my complaint of no symptoms in the morning yesterday, I was so nauseated that night I ended up getting sick and not being able to eat dinner. Night time is way worse for my nausea than day time.
I'm finally joining the morning sickness club! Yay? I was just about to leave for work and the nausea hit me out of no where. I ran to the bathroom and threw up a few times. My boobs also look and feel so full today, right on time for the start of my 6th week. I've been super exhausted and went to bed around 8 last night. It doesn't help I'm still battling this horrible cold. Btw I read that your immune system is supressed during pregancy so we are more suseptible to catching a cold.
I am still crampy, which I don't remember so much from last time. I want to sit down more to rest, but every time I do DD wants non-stop 'boo boos' (her term for breastfeeding). I have had several minor twinges of nausea, which so far I have been fending off by eating small amounts frequently. Hardcore M/S vomiting didn't really get bad for me last time until 8 wks, but it lasted thru 16 wks, it will be interesting to see what happens his time.
Brand-newbie here, just intro'd on the Welcome post. Not much in the way of symptoms yet, today just bloated & ever-so-vaguely nauseous, which gets better if I eat something.
FX for those of you reporting spotting, hope it's nothing!!
@littleliverpill, expatmama11, I just wanted to share that recent literature advises against Zofran in pregnancy due to possible birth defects. From what I've read, the risk is small, but I just wanted to pass on what I've heard. You can read more about it here. I'm not sure what other antinausea/antiemetics are used in pregnancy, so this might be one of those situations where the benefits outweigh the risks. Vomiting and getting all dehydrated isn't a good thing, either!
I haven't had too many symptoms other than occasional pain on one side of the pelvic area (it switches from one side to the other), mild boob pain, and hormonal weepiness.
I went in for a beta hcg test yesterday and it came back 153... For 18/19 DPO I think that's really low but we'll see what the numbers look like in a few days. A little worried.
I'm sorry for the ladies experiencing spotting, thoughts and prayers for everyone.
I'm still SO early. Like, I-shouldn't-even-know-I'm-pregnant-yet early. So I feel like I shouldn't even really have symptoms, but I definitely do. I'm still absolutely exhausted, and I feel light-headed all the time. I don't necessarily feel nauseous, but I feel just a touch queasy and nothing sounds good. I've been living on crackers and toast. When I do eat, I don't feel sick but I just get really full, really fast. This is so not like me!
Other symptoms: my boobs are kind of sore, I'm having weird muscle-like pains in my groin/lower abdomen when I stretch the wrong way or stand up, and I've had some very light, very mild cramping off and on. Nothing major. I've also been obsessing over whether or not it's okay to have a little caffeine. I did end up having a small cup of green tea, but now I think I shouldn't even have that for a few weeks. I am so paranoid about miscarrying, I feel like I'm going to end up just drinking water and eating bread for the next couple months here. I've turned into a crazy person!!!

Don't stress over your beta. Remember, the actual number doesn't matter much (Especially this early on), it's how much it increases. Positive vibes for your next appointment!

Hope the spotting is nothing mistabinx. I had spotting last time and everything was fine. (Although the er dr freaked me out. But once I saw my regular OB, I found there was nothing to worry about.)

I'm in the same boat with low betas so I get it. FX that your numbers double!

I appreciate all information!!
I'm hoping I will not end up needing to take anything if I can just push through it. If I were actually throwing up I would probably feel differently. I'm hoping I can continue to force myself to eat and this horrible feeling will pass soon.

I'm taking it only when it the vomiting is out of control. Unfortunately I overheard two nurses in the ER talking about me and the reason why my RE is more hesitant to let me take Zofran (something about a recent lawsuit about cleft lip/palate.) I think you said it right you and your dr have to weigh the benefits and risks but me going to the ER frequently and being dehydrated isn't good either. I have phenergan as well which is used a lot in UK during pregnancy.

raelynn71109 hoping your betas are higher as well! Thanks for the support When are you getting them rechecked?
My first draw was Monday at 13dpo and it was only 21. Second draw was yesterday at 15dpo and it was 46, so they have doubled so far. Third draw is tomorrow.

My first food aversion: garlic (which I usually love!) It smells and tastes SO strong. I had my first super-amazing night's sleep last night for the first time in this pregnancy. I only got up once to go to the bathroom. Maybe because my husband slept on the couch?

I'm going in for beta/progesterone today and Saturday (at a different clinic). The nurse said something odd about the progesterone not being available until monday, though the first beta would be available tomorrow.
She said the progesterone takes 48 hours, which is bullshit. I think what she meant was that they won't consider supplementation until they know for certain betas are rising at appropriate rates (which, at 5 weeks shouldn't be doubling any longer), and not dropping out. Which is fair, I guess, but I'm so pissed off about the entire extra week of delay and having to beg them to get this done in the first place (and the nurse was bitchy), I'm just throwing up my hands.
I feel crampy. Not excruciatingly so. I'm so hyper aware that I have no idea if these are worrisome or normal. Backache is returning, mostly on the left side (which kicked my paranoia into high gear). I've felt like vomiting all morning (I did earlier), and my boobs are sore, but that may be from grabbing them. The spotting isn't really there at the moment, though there may have been a light tinge to the cm. Which is not unusual given that I had bright red spotting early this morning. It's not increased at all to this point, for whatever that's worth.
So I'm going to pick up my husband and get my blood drawn and then we're going home. I plan to rest, get a new book to read, and try not to obsess over it. Whatever is going to happen is going to happen. I can't do anything about it. It ends in one of three ways. Continued pregnancy with a weird blip of spotting, continued pregnancy with low progesterone that gets supplemented next week, or miscarriage. Which of those it is was determined when the sperm met egg and I've never had any control over the outcome. So it's a waiting game.

I just finished washing my bathroom walls to prep for painting. Now I have a backache and it feels like I was punched in my right boob. Guess that's the end of productive housework today.

I have really sore boobs, peeing all the time, and the past few days nausea. I'm not hungry, but I am. If I don't eat, that's when I start feeling really icky. Nothing really sounds good, but I'm forcing myself to eat something every hour or so. The nausea also seems to be worse when I'm sitting and not doing something, so I'm trying to get up and move around a lot.
I'm also way crabby. My students asked why I've been a bitch the last couple of days. Whoops.

Actually things have been better today but overall dizziness that spins into mild nausea, random twinges in my left side and middle, tired after 4pm that really ramps up the dizziness but when I sleep it isn't that deep sleep you think you are going to get. Bloating and sore boobs which honestly have had in varying degrees for the past 4 months since I started IVF. Gotta love progesterone. Nothing has compared to the end of stimming during my fresh cycle when just taking my bra off and "dropping" them caused me to wince.
My symptoms include bloating, some dizziness and I think MS is on its way. Last time I took B6 everyday and that seemed to help with the nausea. Also I'm craving things I should probably not have....like a gigantic coke...no worries, I didn't give in.

I felt a bit queasy all day, no pukes tho so that's good. I still haven't told my boss I'm pregnant so I'm doing my best to pretend I'm not fighting back vomit. Oh, and I sit directly across from her....
The bloat is real....I'm only 6 weeks pregnant and look about 12-15 lol (just for the record, I'm chubby anyway)
