I soooooo remember being that mom saying "I will never...." and the BTDT moms on our board chuckled and said "good luck with that". You'll find yourself going back on almost everything you say before.
I remember being annoyed with BTDT moms in real life saying "just you wait..." now I find myself thinking that phrase all. the. time.

I'm not opposed to kid leashes for safety reasons, like in airports or I see them a lot at the state fair. I would never make a habit out of one though.
Also, I just ate two slices of extra greasy, sloppy pizza hot and fresh from the Wegmans pizza counter. And I bought a garlic and spinach naan pizza for dinner. And by dinner I mean like in an hour because I still fucking starving somehow.
cnf2013, that sounds awesome. I have a garlic and spinach pizza in the freezer and some whole wheat pizza dough that came in this week's food box, so there's a lot of pizza in my future, too!
Also, +1 with the starving. I didn't bring enough food to work today.

Preach Mama!!!! This is a daily occurrence in my home
Sorry ladies, I deserved to be flamed lol. Didn't meant to come off so judgmental. To each their own really, and the picture was maybe over the line a bit. It just made me chuckle but obviously I didn't mean to offend anyone at all
The triplet thing is the ONLY one I can see though where -maybe- slightly I'd concider it but even then probably not lol but that would be a good reason lol
I agree with the picture. I will never put my kid on a leash. And I really mean never.
I always hated leashes for kids too but I can imagine needing one for my son if went somewhere like Disney or an airport. I would rather be given the side eye by people than lose my kid in a crowd anyday!
Anyone ever see the Modern Family episode about kid leashes? They give the little girl mini high heel shoes instead and she loves them but can't run away, hilarious!

Yeah, my kid is fast. Way faster than me. Her listening skills are not great. We talk about safety and we practice stopping, looking both ways before crossing the street, etc. But she's 3. Her logic, forethought, and ability to concentrate on what I'm saying are low. I haven't used a leash yet, but that's because she's good at holding my hand or because we carry her. But I absolutely would in certain situations. I don't judge, because I know what it's like to have an active kid who darts away.
I don't have strong opinions about non-breakfast foods for breakfast (I'll eat whatever depending on how I feel), but breakfast for dinner is one of my favorite meals. It wasn't until I got older that I realized my parents did that because breakfast foods (eggs, pancakes) are cheap and we were dirt poor.
