baby two ended up in the NICU for 22 hours first because of meconium ingestion and after that due to respiration and glucose issues. The total labor time was 6 hours and only required 3 pushes...The combination of the speedy delivery and the meconium ingestion did not allow the fluid in her lungs to be expressed during birth and she was a full "code blue" with her first breath 3 minutes after delivery. Her APGAR was a 2

. Super scary at the time, but once she was breathing steadily she quickly rose to an 8 and I was able to hold her a few minutes before the NICU.

I'm happy to say she is now rooming with me and doing well

we are hoping to go home in the morning! DD1 has yet to meet her sister and I can't wait. I miss my little peanut so much!
