DD1 goes around 8:30 so we put DD2 down around then too. It's been working out okay. We watch a few episodes of a show we're watching on Netflix (currently New Girl) with ear buds in the PS4 controllers. Then I go to bed. DH will sometimes stay up and play video games or go to bed too. Early to bed, early to rise with kids.
We start bedtime routine at 6:30. Bath, feeding and then rocking/ cuddling. She is typically asleep by 7:30 and sleeps till about 5am.

She gets breastmilk all day and then formula right before bed (my supply isn't enough despite trying everything imaginable). I think the formula keeps her satisfied longer. Also I think the nightly bath helps calm her. I will add that it isn't always 5am.... Last night we stayed at my parents and she was a little harder to get down and woke up at 3am for a snack. I was worried about her long stretches of sleep (with out feeding) but she is gaining weight just fine. I am still up up at 2am for a MOTN pump session.....

Besides waking to eat every 2-3 hours, my LO now has been going to bed about 7:30 and sleeping until 6:30 or later. He seems to need a lot more sleep than the average baby. This is with a couple 1-2 hour naps during the day.

I aim to do 7:30-8:30p and then I wake him up about 10 for a feeding before I go to bed. He wakes at 2-3a ish for a feed and then again btw 6-7a
He's 10 weeks and at 12 weeks Ill move him to his crib and may start a 7:30p bed time to try and get him close to DD's schedule, shes 2.5 yrs and sleeps from 7:15p - 6:30 am
My LO has decided on early bedtime the last 2 days. 7:30 Sunday night and 7:55 last night. And he's slept better than he normally does so I'm hoping this is a step in the right direction. He wakes up much earlier now, but I'll take that over sleeping in 90 minute increments all morning.
DS is 6 weeks. He has his last feeding between 9 & 10 and is usually in bed by 1030. Most nights he sleeps until 4, eats and goes back to sleep until 7 or 8. I should probably start moving it back but I love not getting up at 2 or 3 am...
I've been having a similar quandary. Babygirl is 7.5 weeks and usually goes down between 7 & 8. Most often lately she's up again at 2 or 3 (and then 5 and then 6...). I can't decide if it's better to have an hour or so of down time in the evening, or if it would be more worth it to not have to get up at 3. Especially since the 3 am feeding can take about an hour start to finish. I am going to work 1 or 2 days a week now, and have to be out the door by 6:15, so it is kind of nice to get that 5 am feeding in and know that she already ate twice so there's no stress or heartbreak if it has to be cut short so I can get on the road. But man, I am beat. I almost fell asleep a couple of times on the way home yesterday (at 3 pm!).
I guess I should just roll my own bedtime back to 8 pm or so and get that nice chunk of sleep. I want to start running again, and in a few months, the only safe time to run will be at 4 am anyway...

duckker I said the same thing this morning about how I have to start going to bed as soon as LO is down because then maybe I will feel more rested, even if it is at 7:30 or 8 pm. But then I also feel like that's time I should take advantage of to spend with my husband since he works all day. It's tough finding that balance. Hope the sleeping situation gets better soon!
