Finally having the implant removed! (Intro)

Hello ladies, I'm Toria. I'm 27, and I've had the contraceptive implant for 3 years. It ran out last week, and I'm having it removed on Tuesday afternoon. My husband is 34 and we've been married for two years, though we've been together for nine. We both work at the same university, he's a professor and I'm a lecturer.
I'm going to start temping once my period arrives, but I have no idea when that will be, and I've been recomended by my doctor not to try to conceive until my periods have been normal for two months as well. So we're not TTC yet but hopefully we will be soon! Just thought I'd introduce myself now though, since I will be lurking and occasionally posting from now really.
