I'm kinda here. Work is busy and I don't have energy to read everything but will tonight. Also I feel like crap bc DD was crying her head off when I dropped her at DC this morning. She didn't nap at all yesterday she was so tired when I picked her up I felt awful. She's so used to sleep in her room with the lights off that she just can't relax at the DC bc so much is going on. I hope she will figure it out any advice??
JoBub those are great retail stories!! Since I work with the public, I've been educated on the ways of insulting someone. "As worthless as tits on a boar hog" was a personal favorite I've been called.
You must have met my GMIL. I'm pretty sure she says that at least once whenever we are over there.

LO has never been great at naps at daycare, but he's figured it out some. He's always afraid he'll miss something.

Yeah I was going to say sorry but it will just take time for lo to get used to it. If possible, give them as much leeway to try whatever they can- try a mobile, white noise, a blanket, paci, try jiggling the crib- lots of these things are against state reg. but they can do it with your permission in writing.
JoBub - This is why I need to find something to wear.
I have nothing fabulous to wear and my MF H went to kohls and got an outfit for himself. I mean he cares more about his appearance than I do, but still- a little jealous. Not because I couldn't do the same, but because my body is yuck and nothing fits the way I want it to.

It's mostly over the phone- thank the lord! It's a bit scary when I have to see people face to face. One guy that came in was drunk and brought his cup of orange juice with him. ?
I've been more scarce this week, time is just flying by.
Worst job... I'll go with worst part of the job, bc overall I didn't hate the job itself, although I also didn't like it either. I worked in a credit authorizations dept as an operations manager for a year, and I hated the escalated customer calls because it usually had escalated due to a customer not having the ability to repay therefore we wouldn't be able to increase their credit limit to put thru a sale. They'd push and push for someone to just say yes, but legally I couldnt. Embarrassing for the customers who were standing at the register, so they would get piiiiisseed. Esp the customers or sales associates in our high end retail store... I got cussed out many times. Lovely.

I just feel bad for her and the teachers. I asked if she could be moved to a crib in the corner away from all the action but they can't do it. mom2boxers I think DD is the same, she is so nosy she needs to know what's going on all the time.

She should absolutely be moved to a corner if she's the newest. The quietest darkest corner. It's less work for them if she sleeps so they should be willing.

I think it's easier for guys to find something too. Really can't mess up a polo or dress shirt. I feel like it's a chore to shop for clothes. Plus when I am needing something I can't find something I like. The other thing is shoes. It's quite a bit of standing and walking and I'm a wimp when it comes to my feet.

That was my thought. Because she is part-time her crib is the one that is used by a Monday-weds kid. If she keeps it up you would think they would do something if not just for their benefit. She's a great napper at home, maybe she will surprise me today. I'm too afraid to call them and see how she's doing. If she's fussing I will want to run over and get her.

LO was actually under a window to the hall that had bright florescent lights on all the time even when the lights were dimmed. After a few days, I requested he be moved and I think they asked another parent and they were ok with the swap.
becolemom2boxers If you didn't need something tomorrow I would suggest using Rent the Runway.
My friend actually just used this site! The dress didn't fit though, so now she can return it and they will only give a credit to the site, not a return but it's too late for her to pick something else. She should have gotten two sizes but she didn't.
But it seems like a good idea. I hate to buy anything new when I have perfectly fine clothes in my closet that my boobs and belly are too big for. I just need to get in shape.

JoBub whoa crazy stories I would have totally been freaked out by that guy in Payless yikes! I've not had a lot of different jobs. The most interesting was a summer job at a music festival I attended in aspen Colorado. First of all, aspen is amazing. But I got to work in the box office will call. There were celebrities that came to the concerts. I've seen bill Clinton and jack Nicholson there. There were tickets in my will call box for Steven Spielberg but he never came by

How many days has she been there? It took a couple of week for DD to get used to her first daycare and the first couple of days she came home and was super fussy until I put her to bed. But then she got used to the environment and the stimulation and would sleep. Maybe a couple more days and she will be ok?

narbuckle01 this is only her second day there. Hopefully she will adjust. But because she is only part time I have a feeling it may take longer since she is not consistent. I would like to put her in full time but grandma watches her 2 days a week and if I take that away from her she will probably flip out.

This week blows!!!! DDs cold turned into a possible ear infection. Doc said it was not infected but there was fluid in her ear from the cold. Makes me think that it is only a matter of time before the infection comes. Fingers crossed.
I don't know how you HR ladies do it mominthemaking14 and ladytiffany24. You all are amazing to put up with all that stuff! I have two things going on this week and I just feel like work is a nightmare. I can't imagine if it was my everyday job.

Wow. I really hope baby Aut makes a full recovery soon. I feel so bad for the tough time she's been having.

JoBub damn girl. It's a good thing schools can't get robbed. sstwinklinglites I haven't found my passion either, but my job pays the bills, and gives me tons of time with my family. That's good enough for now. My worst job was as an outside sales person for Hilti (a power tool company) in Boston. The customers were mostly fine, it was my coworkers that bothered me. They all assumed I just showed up at job sites and the orders would flow. Not true. Plus it was a very closed group. I lasted exactly one year. Best job was probably the navy. They paid for my BA and MS, and I met some of my best friends and my husband. It really sucked sometimes but it was definitely worth it. I found out yesterday my husband has to travel on business for the next two weeks. I'll be spending the weekend making sure we get stuff done around the house so I don't have to do anything other than keep us alive while he's gone.
