On babymoon/vacay in Maui and just purchased our first 'real art' for our house! I know it's weird, but I swear...I fell in love with this pig picture!

I made homemade pizza dough, and then I got so into the whole yeast-flour-water-oil thing that I made two loaves of homemade bread which are rising as we speak.
During my drive to work this morning, I had these random stabbing pains in my groin and lower abdomen. They really freaked me out, but went as quickly as they came and there was no sign of bleeding or anything. Has anyone else experienced something similar?
Yes! I got them earlier - like around 7/8 weeks. I'm pretty sure they're normal. Probably baby pressing on a nerve or stretching of your abdomen and uterus. At least that's what doctor Google and my friend told me.
I'm 5'6" but I have the legs of someone who is 5'4" or shorter apparently. With a long torso, it took me forever to really look pregnant last time, and it looks like it will this time too. Still rocking the beer gut and boob job look instead of the pregnant look.
I think this is my problem. I have a super long torso for my height, and I would describe my look the exact same way. Sigh.

slurpeelove I know that not everyone is ok with used furniture, but I second the Craigslist or trustworthy used furniture store idea if a couch is deemed a necessity. We have a used furniture shop nearby that we've gotten most of our chairs from. The owner is an upholsterer and professionally cleans all the furniture he sells, so it's never scuzzy and gross. I got a reclining wing chair (heaven!) for $50. I had been saving up for a $260 IKEA wing chair. I totally do not regret my decision to not get the IKEA chair...

We got out early today due to snow. I got home around 11. Made my lunch, changed, and have been sitting in my chair browsing Facebook and pro boards for (I'm so ashamed) 3 hours!! I'm so lazy. This is so different for me. Also, my husband now works from home most of the time. I feel guilty about this, but I kinda miss my alone time snow days... Like, I used to get to watch girly movies and crochet and drink tea, and now I have to listen to Jason Bourne movies on my days off. Whine.

I'm really enjoying how my boobs have gotten a little bit bigger because of pregnancy but I was hoping they were going to even out. My right boob finally fits in my bras but my left boob is busting out. Righty, please catch up! Also, the best pregnancy dream I have had so far was one where my boobs were like double d's (normally a b cup, or at least the left one is) and I was wearing a v-neck tshirt and getting ready in the mirror. When I realized my situation all I could do was stare and touch them. I'm really hoping that dream will come true.
I wasn't aware that it (the Ovia app) would have blurbs about BMI and suggested weight gain. So I went back and changed the number. I really just want to know what size fruit the baby is and what's going on in utero.
you can set which info you want to pop up. I turned that off of mine. I already know I'm over weight k thankssss.

Let's play a game called wineandcake needs a new hairstyle but knows nothing about style. I very rarely wash my hair, I aim to brush my hair once a week (but it usually only happens once every second week), I wear it up in a messy bun way too often because I'm lazy, and I hate blow drying it. It's extremely thick, although it doesn't look it. Here is a picture of it at this moment for reference.

Do you wanna keep your hair? When I get bored with mine I chop it off. It's re-growing at the moment so I'm rocking a small 'fro.

DD's are not all they are cracked up to be! But I get it, the grass is always greener on the other side. Many days I wish I could have smaller boobs. I can think of so many more styles of clothing I could wear!

wineandcake I chopped mine to a pixie and now my hair routine is 1 minute - comb into place, pomade, done.
If you're not up for the super sort hair, though, what is it about your current style that you don't like? Most everything will take daily work and maintenance so if it's long enough for you to pull back now, why change it?

wineandcake Anything you get, you'll have to do something with, I think. Which would include at the very least brushing or combing it every day.
What about a long bob with a side part? It's pretty utilitarian while fitting most face shapes, and you could keep it about shoulder-length so it can still be put up easily.
There is the option of going shorter, like jaw-length, for a real change - but you'd only be able to do it about halfway up for a while.
I'm too cheap to purchase a Doppler, but I am waiting for week 20 when it is supposedly possible to start hearing baby's HB with a good old stethoscope. Last time it was more like week 25 for me, but I can hope!

The laziness is mostly because the style allows for it. If I had some shape or style I would be more likely to do something with it. Right now it just hangs there so I don't bother since nothing makes it look really nice. I'm going to see what the hairdresser here says/thinks. I had shorter hair (same style, just shorter) when I met DH and he really liked that, maybe I'll see about doing something with a little less length and actually requires I put effort into it, I'm in a bit of a slump and need to get out of it!

I couldn't decide if I wanted ice cream or chocolate pop tarts just now, so I made a bowl of ice cream and crumbled the pop tarts on top. It was kind of amazing.
