And btw, wtf kind of organized event doesn't have paramedics with an ambulance there at the event?! I'm flabbergasted that the medics would tell your DH to drive you to the ER from a BREW festival!! I would really contact the event coordinators to have this changed. My father is a paramedic and frequently works a variety of events and festivals.

Thanks. Everyone we've talked to has said the same thing. They needed to get the ambulance there for us. It was handled pretty wrong.
That's terrifying. I can think of many days where I've had more beer than water and been outside all day - thank you for the word of caution. I'm so glad you're okay.
