Actually slept okay last night but our plumbing decided to go haywire this morning so now an emergency call to a plumber is underway, and then getting into my car to head to work I slipped on some wet grass (luckily the door was open so I caught myself and no harm to LO thank goodness) but totally rolled my ankle and is currently swelling up like nobody's business. Not a great start to the day!
Ugh, this morning I woke up feeling like there is literally no more room for my stomach to expand and LO is going to pop out the top of my belly like in Alien. I think it was just my first experience with having a limb in my rib cage; but goodness was it painful.

I had lighting boob all night and they still feel so heavy and sore today. I guess the milk valves are turning on. Time to start wearing a bra at night and all day. Sigh.
This is leftover from the weekend, but I finally got some of DD's old baby stuff out of the basement to clean and her infant carseat was covered in mold. I washed the removable fabric part of the car seat so that was easy enough, but removing the mold from the straps is going to be more of a pain- I think I am going to try my cleaning strength vinegar first. The fabric canopy part of the car seat doesn't seem removable and I don't see any mold on it, so I guess I will just try hand washing it after I get the straps under control.
ETA: As much as I would love to just throw it away and buy a new one, we have too much invested in compatible accessories (such as 3 car seat bases), and I feel confident enough that I can get it clean with some good old TLC.

You can probably order replacement straps from the manufacturer!
I hate Mondays. Especially when DD wants to be up at 5:30 in the morning. Boo. She's also being a bit of an asshole today. Fun fun.
My pelvic region has been killing me this last weekend and I'm tired. Also, my snoring has gotten so bad, that my DH has moved to the couch. Lol. Poor bugger but I guess payback is a bitch as it's usually him snoring like mad.

Nice thought. The thing about that though is the way it is constructed I am convinced that if I actually remove the infant straps from the base I am not going to be able to rethread them. So I was planning on cleaning the straps without actually removing them. IMO all car seats are a bitch to take apart and put back together, I don't want to risk taking apart more than I know I can handle.
Widget123- I got replacements for our old Britax marathon several years ago after DS1 tossed his cookies all over the seat. I didn't think it was possible either.

What kind of seat is it??
It is a Maxi Cosi Mico. Maybe I will have DH take a look at it, but the threading set-up makes me more nervous than most of DD's convertible car seats. If I can remove the straps I could just throw those in the wash too. Maybe I will try calling customer service and see what they say.
lalamomma Did you say you have this kind of car seat too or am I making that up? If you do, have you ever tried to remove the straps before?
I woke up last night because I was choking due to reflux. That was probably the most hard core heartburn I've ever had. Also had trouble getting to sleep to start with because I felt like my left hip was in the wrong place. Cue a new pillow fort construction and I think I've found my new comfort zone, for now, because it seemed to help a little bit anyway.
Iiit's Monday and another week in, which means less weeks to go! Ah!

After putting together a storage shelf from IKEA this weekend, I now have the back of an 80 year old. Makes moving or sitting, or laying down, or rolling over super fun.
I made it 33 weeks with being able to wear my wedding bands...Today I cant. I feel so naked!! And like I'm lying to the world about being married... I think I will be going to Target after work to buy a cheap ring.

I was just telling DH yesterday how I felt great and didn't have any of the symptoms I got towards the end with DS. Apparently I jinxed myself because I woke up this morning totally exhausted and I feel like my legs are made of lead. I walk like 4 steps and need to sit down. I was fine yesterday, what happened?? Poor DS wants to go outside and play in puddles, but he is a runner and there's no way I can chase after him today. We'll have to try after we both get a nap.

Hmm. I googled. Nothing on the Maxi Cosi web page other than call an 800 #. Boo.
I woke up with sciatic pain so severe I could barely move. I called off work (no way I was getting no through the day as a teacher!) and managed to get an appointment with a chiropractor for the first time. Turns out baby's shifted my pelvis over - my left leg was 1/2 inch shorter than the right - and that also shifted my lumbar out of place. I'm also dealing with a muscle by my sciatic that is stretched and putting extra pressure on my sciatic, wheee. So I got aligned (man, it hurt my pelvis!) and I'll be going back Wednesday!
Baby's super active today, too. I've been watching my belly move since about 2:30 am! Not nonstop but she's definitely bouncy. I feel lots of nudges and bumps over kicks.

So much pain low down by my vadge. I saw another birth month club use 'vadge' and it's my new favorite way to refer to it now.
Fighting with DH more lately. He never seems to care to feel baby kick, hasn't read any of the books I got, is going begrudgingly to the childbirth class that we had to reschedule bc he couldn't get up for the first one.
I know he's excited and ready for baby, but his moodiness is taking a toll on me emotionally.
And the wind and rain is horrible today, and my umbrella broke on the way to work.
My lower back is killing me. I couldn't even walk upright last night. Had to walk on my hands to get up the stairs to bed. Spending as much time as my wrists and knees will tolerate on hands and knees today. Gyrating away trying to get this loosened up or the baby out of whatever weird spot he's in. Also my prepregnancy bras are past being at capacity and they suck so bad. I need to go get a few maternity bras to get through the last 9ish weeks.
Widget123 and now, tonight, I'll be getting out DD's infant seat to check for mold on the straps! Eeeps.
I'm eating cake.
DD was up from 3:45am to 5:40am, tossing and turning and snuggling with her favorite lovey (me). Note: her favorite lovey is hugely uncomfortable and in need of all the space while sleeping so guess who was also up from 3:45am to 5:40am? I'm so tired.
Rant of the day: We are team green and I'm going to slap the next person that says "I'm just too much of a planner to do that." I've probably heard it at least ten times. I'm actually a huge planner as well and I really haven't had that much trouble getting things ready for this LO. I know it's just crazy pregnant lady coming out, but all I hear is "wow, you must not have anything planned or ready at all." Umm, my nursery has been painted for the last month and we have plenty of clothes for either boy or girl (not that it really matters what I dress my newborn in). Ok, off to take some deep breaths...

My first pregnancy symptom with DS was that I got a rash under my e-ring - couldn't wear a stand in if I wanted to. Then my fingers were too big. So... I haven't worn my ring in about 3 years.

UHH I cant imagine... I think I would go stir crazy!!

Such wacky dreams last night. One of which woke me up screaming at the top of my lungs (poor DH, although payback for ALL THE SNORING!) because it involved someone breaking into our apartment and it was just so so realistic. Also, I've started practicing for hypnobirthing, which I plan to have as one of our tools for birthing, I'm reading the book and doing the exercises, and using the guided meditation CD at night right now. Well last night I went into a sort of wakeful dream OVER the voice of the guided meditation and it was such a crazy experience. I realized something was wrong when in the dream my headphones were like blowing cold air onto my neck (obviously not real) and the voice had started saying really stress inducing things ("now your boss is looking over your shoulder" "now you can hear a constant alarm in the background") so I had to rewind the CD and see how much of what I had just heard was my dream and how much was really the guide's voice. FYI The guide did NOT say the horrible nasty stress inducing things, or blow air on me lol!! Pretty creepy!!!
Today I had an intake appointment to start seeing a therapist, and I threw up twice while in the office. Joy. Other than that, I just have the usual headache, heartburn and hip pain. 9 weeks left. 9 weeks left. 9 weeks left. Breathe through it. Breathe through it. Breathe through it!
Now that it has happened twice today I have to ask. Anyone else feel like the baby tickles you? Both times I felt it on my right side. Weird tickle sensation. Creepy little man!
Feeling ok today. Lack of sleep is going to be horrible, but I keep telling myself it's just temporary and training for once LO is here. Woke up at 1:30 am with a REALLY bad nose bleed - thankfully I was able to only have a drop or two on my pillow but my chest and face looked like someone had punched me. FUN. DH was sorta helpful... he was also half asleep. He kept rubbing my back and I kept telling him that I needed more paper towels not a back rub, but thank you. Also in the camp of realizing I need new bras, and will hopefully make it to a store for a fitting sometime soon.
Baby is also doing some insane shifting. Yesterday I swear he grabbed a rib on the left side and pulled himself up. OW. Not cool baby, not cool He's been breech or transverse the whole time, so I'm worried he's moving the wrong way (away from head down). Could just be my SS brain.
ETA- RLP is bad this past week. If I roll over/move too fast, my body is not happy with me. I miss my old body.
