I'm glad to see a spam thread here today. Pretty much all of F15 has migrated over, so it's been tough to try and keep up with both boards on both sites. It's so much easier when they're in the same place.
Still laying in bed right now but I have for to get up and get to the post office ASAP. I forgot to mail one of our ETSY orders yesterday and I thought in saw steam coming out of DHs ears last night when he asked about it. Not a good night and it was totally my fault he was mad so that sucked even worse. Oh well it will ship today and all will be right in the world again.
Finally, figuring this place out! I agree I hope more people come over!!
In other news my baby slept FIVE straight hours last night! It was AMAZING, my husband woke up and was like am I reading the clock right did he just do that!?!? I PRAY its not a fluke!
1. I'm finding out one of my favorite parts of the day is brushing my teeth. Like, I get legit excited. I think it's because it's a quick way to feel much cleaner.
2. Things I want to tell visitors that insist on seeing LO right away: ....you're going to see my boobs. My son currently nurses just about every hour. If he doesn't get to nurse when he wants to the crying will not stop. ....you may not get to hold him. He barely lets his dad hold him, because let's face it, right now he only likes me for my boobs and has no interest in anyone else who isn't going to give him milk. ....we are all exhausted and would rather you keep your visit short. At any moment one of us may fall asleep completely oblivious you're even here.

shannjohnston once you're in the page you want to bookmark, click the top right corner and then select subscribe. You still have to start from the gbcb page each time but your favorites will be at the top of the pop down menu.
My hands free pumping bra came in the mail yesterday....love it. I also think I have a small infection in the cuticle around one of my fingers....etc, no time for that.

My OB has no appointments available until after my EDD. How does that happen?! Anyway, he's awesome and is able to fit me in today on his non-clinic day. Yay! I'm 39 weeks and I think I'll be getting my first cervical check. I've been having irregular contractions, so I'm curious if there's any progress there.
Didn't sleep well all night, Braxton Hicks like contractions and baby moving like clockwork every 15 min. If I didn't already have one kid I'd be tempted to call l&d but thanks to learning about prodromal labor I'm hanging out in bed trying to rest. They're just annoying enough to wake me so I sleep in 10 min increments.
We broke out of the hospital! Now, how the hell am I going to sleep tonight if the nurses don't take him for me? :/
Well, nap whenever you aren't feeding him. I think you're doing bottles, correct? James takes first shift and will bring up L when he's going to bed. I nurse whenever and take second shift. This lets me get to 'bed' or sleep around 7ish.

Well, I good news and "meh" news from OB appointment. We have an induction date of 2/3 if labor doesn't start on its own. Unfortunately, my cervix is not dilated at all, but is 70% effaced. Boo.
I'm going to attempt to get groceries with both kids. Hold me.
How'd it go? K went out with the twins on her own today. Of course, she was halfway out of the building when she realized one of our cats had gone to sleep in the bottom part of the stroller, so back she came to kick him out. Cats are cute, fuzzy assholes.
@happywigglecmb: I had the same concerns when we went home - we sent the kids to the nursery every night! It hasn't been too terrible with them here with us though, and they are pretty cute, so that always helps.

Well I lived. I got less than half of what was on my list, but I got C's milk! lol
Really it was hard because if C and the fact that she's 16 months.
DH took all the Feedings last night because I apparently was quite bitchy from lack of sleep. Now I'm sitting here waiting for the next feeding watching Harry Potter. I'm not looking forward to the lack of sleep again. I'm really hoping that this one sleeps through the night at about 6 weeks as my son didn't sleep through the night until he was close to 6 months.
