I googled and it's a common symptom... My butt hurts really bad but the pain intensifies when I'm sleeping. Anyone else experience this? Is this normal?

Not really a worry, just a question. Before getting pregnant I drank Advocare Spark every morning. I had a serious aversion in first tri so I avoided it. Now in second tri I love it, but try to limit to every 2-3 days. Does anyone else drink it or were you told not to for some reason? Everything I see online days it's fine, I'm just curious.

Want to know what else is normal? Nosebleeds around 15/16 weeks. Yeah, sneezing brought a big surprise to me yesterday. But according to my pregnancy books it's normal.

Something else normal - swollen vag. Seriously, there is so much pressure down there already, I swear my lady bits are exhausted by 1000h because of the pressure. Vulvar varicose veins make it even more pleasant. Pregnancy hates me.

Yep. THis happened to me last week. Walking around work with a Kleenex shoved up my nostril was super fun.

This is what I have been dealing with since week 5. Bloody nose (admittedly minor, but lasting for hours) every single day. Good to know if could continue another three weeks. Blargh. I guess as a symptom it's not really that bad.

Yes! And every damn time I blow my nose, I get random mini bleeds. Sometimes just on the tissue, sometimes that I have to actually stop. I had that a lot with DS too.

Is it normal to have a bad taste in your mouth? I've had it for about 5-7 weeks now. The gross taste has stuck around even though my nausea has lessened.

That happened to me in the first tri! It was especially bad whenever I drank water. I already forget the name, but it's an actual thing where your hormones alter your taste perception. Citrus everything fixed me right up. I put lemon in my water and drank grapefruit juice like nobody's business.

Okay, I have one. Is it normal for your uterus to feel a little tender if you press on it or poke it? Not painful exactly, but definitely kind of uncomfortable.
Also- I'm noticing that sometimes it feels very hard and looks more prominent. That's usually when I start pushing on it, just to feel it, and it's uncomfortable. And then after a few seconds it goes back to normal. Baby moving around? Contractions? Or is it too soon (17 weeks)? I know you technically start getting BH at like 6 weeks but everything always says you won't feel it until 20 weeks or later.

I'm a FTM, so you know, no expert. But when I poke around my uterus, I look for a hard spot and that's where the baby is. I feel the baby moving already too. On Ovia, it said if you push on the baby, it'll move away. So it's definitely possible!

petrichor mine is different hardnesses throughout the day and depending on my position (sitting, laying down, etc).
Mine also feels tender if I push on it - like the edge of my desk at work is right at the wrong spot for sitting really close like I usually do. Uterus objects to this.

I would say my ute feels tender or sensitive in general. I hate when anything pushes on it, it just feels weird.
Also I swear I'm feeling BH contractions already. I feel it get tight and hard like a cramp for a minute and then it goes away. I had a lot of BH last time and by the end I was 6cm dilated at my last OB appt - not even in labor!

Yep I'm having the same problem. I feel pathetic because I didn't have the swollen painful vag until 3rd tri with my other 2.

Yup...I've had it since 6 weeks and it drives me nuts. I chew a lot of peppermint gum b/c it's the only thing that doesn't leave a bad taste in my mouth.

The Prego Brain struggle is so so real. I started my car this morning to warm up while I got ready, was about to leave the house and spent 10 minutes looking for my keys. I can't focus on anything and forget everything. Also, I forgot what the hell else I was going to put in this post.
This better be normal. I am missing my awesome memory.

I posted this on TB but everyone had already jumped ship. I'm having severe cramping/ pinching in the bottom of my stomach during sex. Not discomfort.. Pain.
Anyone else? We've decided to abstain until my next appt until I can speak to the dr. It seems to be getting more painful as time passes. Dh is gonna die without sex, but I'm not 100% sure this is normal :/
Byefelecia85, by stomach do you mean at the bottom of your abdomen/tummy? How far along are you?
The bottom of my abdomen.. Mainly the right side. Everything will be fine and then I get a sudden pinching/stabbing sensation and I have to have him stop.. Because once it starts it doesn't go away. The area stays sore usually for another day..

I'm so glad I'm not the only one experiencing this so early. I was at least 25wks with Mac before it got bad. This time it started at 11wks and it's gotten so much worse already. The varicose veins are already the same size/amount I had at 40w. I understand why it was bad then, I had nearly 11lbs of baby in me, but this kid is the size of an orange it shouldn't be this bad so soon
That does suck. I wonder if position plays a part in the pain? I would talk to your doc about it for sure. FWIW, when I've experienced pinching/stabbing pain it was caused by a nerve.

Sucks
I would also be talking to my doctor, but it definitely could be nerve pain. Does your doctor's office have a nurse call line you could try, while waiting for your next appointment?

Next appt is Monday.. I could call but after the way last time went I haven't been in the mood. I haven't had any spotting or anything.
