I am almost always mobile and I am slow typing on my phone so I don't post much but I am here often.
We are getting ready to move again - we have been in CT just over a year and are moving to NC in just over 4 weeks. Luckily we were just renting here so we don't have to sell a home, and we have a contract on a house in NC and just got word from our loan underwriter that we have everything we need so our loan should be "official" soon. I am anxious about the actual move but not nearly as much as last year - Jack was only 8 weeks old and it feels like it was such a blur. I have already started packing things we don't use often or can get by with less. I feel comfortable that we can get packed in time for the movers this time - last time I was anxious about it until they arrived and started loading!
We are flying out tomorrow to visit my family and I am so excited. We haven't seen anyone from my side in over a year. Abby flew great when we went to look at houses in NC and Jack did OK so I am hopeful abut the flights. The kids will have a blast with their 9 cousins while we are there I and certain.
I totally forgot you're moving down here! Did you wind up finding a home in the Davidson area? (I think that's where you said you were looking)
We will be living in Mooresville and we are very excited to move into our new house!
Hugs jfresh. I'm so sorry things have gotten worse with your H. I hope that no matter what, that you and Oliver find what is best for you both. We are here for you anytime.
Hugs jfresh. We miss you around here but in understand needing time for what's going on in your life. I'm sorry things have gotten worse. I've BTDT so if you need to talk let me know. I hope it's just temporary and things look up. I'm happy to hear Oliver is doing great.

I've been keeping busy with both kids but check in every day.
Edit: posted to soon! I never got online till the evening, so sometimes I feel a little late to the party on threads. DS has been doing great as a big brother. He has his moments but overall, he's still pretty mellow and sweet. He is so outgoing and friendly! DD is so much fun. She's almost 6 months, and just started food. She smiles and laughs nonstop. She sleeps through the night most nights (of course not the last or tonight, lol), is rolling both ways, and is starting to sit up. She loves to stand (with help obviously ) and she adores her big brother. Work is busy, but with only 2 months left of the school year, I can't complain!

And I forgot to add I am a zombie. 4 month wakeful is for the birds. I hope it ends soon. She is a lug at 15.15 at 4 months. Yet she feels the need to nurse every three hours at night and needs a paci reinsert on the hours between. This to shall pass....
Big hugs jfresh and all others who need it!! Things are going good here. Finally nice weather so the girls love to be outside playing and it takes bribes to get Dahlia back in the house without a tantrum. Work is great, such a fun happy place to work.
The nanny search continues. The one I want I'm waiting to hear back from today if she is still interested. Fx or its back to the drawing board and my nanny is only with us another month. Met one on Friday but she seems very organic and natural and no tv philosophy which is great and all but I think I'd feel like she was judging me if I said to give them chicken nuggets or something lol
I'd love a bigger house and I keep looking and sending my husband links but I don't think it'll happen this year. Probably will take another trip to Tampa to visit my Dad in the late summer/fall with the girls. Other than that, just enjoying the girls grow and play!

Ah, I missed this last week!
MissMusic, I've been thinking about you and wondering how you've been. I'm sorry you are so crazy busy and things aren't going well on the TTC front. Sending you so many hugs!
We're busy too. My H finally got on board with moving, so we're in the process of doing all sorts of projects to get our house ready to put on the market. We likely won't do that until next spring, but we're both excited to find another place.
We're also going to start TTC in June. I've been wanting to do this forever, but my H (and therefore our relationship) is finally in a good place, so we need to get a move on. I'm over-analyzing my cycles already (I've been temping for 2 months now) and hoping to avoid seeing a RE, but who knows.
Riley is doing great. She loves swim lessons and is obsessed with doing my hair and going outside. I just can't get over how damn BIG she is.

jfresh, sending you love, hugs, and support friend. We're always here if you need anything. You are one strong lady and Oliver is so very lucky to have you. I'm glad your parents are there for you too. Take some time for yourself and love on that amazing little boy.

jfresh I'm so sorry things aren't working out with you H. We do miss you around here and want to keep updated on Oliver's progress! Hope you keep checking in girl!
I've turned into a lurker more than a poster. Like others, for whatever reason, it is harder for me to remember to check ProBoards than it was TB. I'm hoping it is just a transition phase and we can get more active here like the original J12 was.
Quick update on me:
- Logan will be 1 next month. ONE! What the actual fuck? He finally graduated from physical therapy and is pretty close to walking. He technically has 2 weeks left with the helmet, but it has been really irritating his skin and making him super sweaty so we haven't been very consistent with it. I think he is still going to have a little bit of asymmetry (cue mom guilt), but I think it might only be noticeable if you are really looking for it (I hope).
- Kiera is a full blown threenager, but she is also getting to be a really fun little person. She really is a mini-me and I see so much of my personality in her, which has it's pros and cons. She is doing much better with the stuttering and we will probably be taking a break from speech therapy for a while since she responds really well to cues when it does get bad.
- I accepted a position as a school social worker at a school TWENTY MINUTES from my house. My current commute is 50 minutes, one way. My contract hours are 8:15-3:15 and I have no obligation to work summers unless I want to for extra money. I will be working with general ed and special ed (which includes a self-contained ED classroom that has some pretty challenging kids in it), which I am super excited about because it gives a nice balance. I AM SO EXCITED. I have to keep it a secret because I am not putting in my notice at my current job until mid-July. I just smile inside whenever my boss is being a douche and think about how great it is going to be to be like SEE YA LATER.
I only occasionally lurk these days but here's my update because I still think of you all!
Owen is 5.5 and we just today got the paperwork for his kindergarten assignment. Yikes! I can't believe he is old enough to go to big kid school!
Lily is a total diva these days, mostly due to competing for attention with her brother. The attitude is getting old and she'd lucky she's so damn cute.
I let some of my desi gn work go at the beginning of the year because I was ready for a change but recently have picked up some new assignments that I am excited about. I've been sewing a lot of kid clothes lately too.
The primary time suck, however, has been some major remodels on our house with intent to put it on the market in the fall. We got all new hardwood floors on the lower level, full interior painting, some minor carpentry, and are currently in the middle of remodeling a bathroom. We have the kitchen scheduled for June. It's been total chaos!!
Luckily we also have a vacation to Anna Maria Island planned for the end of the month. Woohoo!

Well life has been busy here. Dustin got his license so I open my eyes in the morning in a instant panic. I kid, kinda. Cheyenne made cheer for her freshman year coming up, so her summer is full of practices and camps. Not to mention a INSANE cheer bill but whatever. She also was just accepted to a STEM camp at Nicholls university this summer. Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. She was accepted out of 500 applicants and only 40 kids in the state get to go so we are very very proud of her. Austin is graduating in one week, well 6 days! He leaves for boot camp on June 12th. I am so not ready for that. Im having severe mom anxiety about it but im swallowing it down and knowing he's doing what he has always wanted to do. I just hope when he's done with camp that they dont send him someplace crazy and far away. Big Frankie mad Assistant Manager of his department about 2 months ago which is great but his pay hasn't caught up to his title yet so that's one thing were dealing with. It'll sort itself out sooner or later. Little frankie started preschool twice a week and it's HEAVEN! I have two days a week to do whatever! He starts going three days a week come June and I cannot wait! I'll have more time to do stuff with the older kids that I cant do with the toddler around. So it'll be good. As for me, not much just trying to get clientele built up here. Still recovering from knee surgery about a month ago. life is good, i cant complain :}
Hey WonderJess! And glad to hear from you. Creeper alert: I'm always hoping I'll run into you around town. Good luck with selling your house. Are you planning to stay in the area? Yes I realize that sounds a bit creepy in light of my prior comment.

Okay, not that anyone mentioned me on the other thread, but I fell off the world. See a lot of you in passing on FB, but not really interacting.
Umm... Elissa is doing well, cool kid. And for having once worried about her speech, I kinda wish she'd pipe down now. ;-)
TheBoy and I are okay. Relationship not bad, but not really knocking our socks off. Hoping it's a phase.
Work has eaten my life. I'm trying to be a good manager, which just seems to create more work. I'm permanently behind. And with the mega-ExxonMobil campus in north Houston, my commute time is up to 2.5 hrs total/day, which I know isn't East Coast crazy long, but still sucks up an absurd amount of time. By the time E goes down at 8, I'm practically right behind her. The house is a wreck and I'm never sure what we're going to eat for dinner, but I suppose we're still alive.
shandril19, yes! Good to see you back - you found us and then you did kind of fall off for awhile... feel free to come around and see us if you ever find a minute!
shandril19 I was wondering where you went! Glad to see you around, don't be a stranger! And I feel ya on that commute, I work in the energy corridor area.
