Last night I was so tired that I just passed out during our story time. DH came and grabbed Isaac so I could sleep. Major brownie points! There is a story time at 11 today at the bookstore next to my house. I am thinking of bringing Isaac. Also I went crazy on the Project life stuff. I will post pics later.

Today's my birthday! But the thing I'm really grateful for is MH. He is so helpful all the time. I don't know what I would do without him. This morning there was a handwritten note from LO (obviously MH) saying what a good mommy he thinks I am and how happy he is that I am his mommy (things like that, you get the gist). I know my husband is very appreciative and thinks I am a good mom... but it is so nice to have it written down so that when I am doubting myself I can go and read that sweet little note and remind myself that at least two people think I am doing a good job .
LO decided to party last night. She slept from 9-11pm then was up past 2am, fussing and chatting. Makes me wonder if teething be going on as the drooling is winning the war with the bibs. And of course, she awakens by 6:30. We couldn't tell if she sweated through the onesie and PJ or pee leaked, but cue complete change over.
Can I vent for two seconds? If I had known that there would be a third thing in our marriage, I would have thought long and hard before accepting H's proposal. His damn computer games. He glomps onto them every time he's home and no matter how much I beg him to spend time with me, it's like talking to a brick wall. I feel lucky if I get 20 minutes of undivided attention every day. K, rant over.

songbirdsinging55 just a fyi.. I love the name Isaac for a boy! It was on my boy name list Getting my first full body massage for prob 2 years! And I loved massages
wildflower810 I have said even 10 minutes would make me happy. It's not computer games, but it's electronics in general. I really have to ask for eye contact and more than one-word responses?

singingmama10-Happy Birthday! Also that is so very sweet! wildflower810- DH Plays his 360 all the time! We had to have a chat a few times
jax1182014- I had a dream a long time ago that I was holding a 2 year old boy and handing him to my father. In the dream I said "say hi to Grandpa Isaac" After that I told DH and we looked up the meaning. Which is he laughs. Ever since we were like that is the perfect boy's name!
Major storm ripped through yesterday evening. Ripped our fence down and roof and H's truck have hail damage. All of our inventory (tractors) and work trucks were beat to shit from the hail. It was very scary, LO and I and the dog were about to head for the closet. It was an 80 mph wind gust. There are trees down all over town. We were very lucky to only have the damage we did. Spending our Saturday cleaning up :/
singingmama10 happy birthday! That sounds like a wonderful way to start the day!
gldnbearz I hope you were able to go back to sleep.
wildflower810 thankfully my husband doesn't play video games but he can get distracted with his phone a lot. I've found going on walks can really help us get to talk.
songbirdsinging55 that's so cool you had a dream like that! I had one while pregnant that my grandma was holding the baby and it was a girl, before we knew the sex.
millm0m that sounds so scary! I'm glad everyone is safe and good luck cleaning up that must be stressful.
Not too much going on here. My husband and I have the full weekend off together! The weather isn't supposed to be that great, but we'll come up with something fun to do I'm sure. Have a happy Saturday everyone!
wildflower810 I hope your H finally grows out of these damn video games. Such a waste of time. I'm sorry
millm0m that sounds so scary! I hope the clean up is fast.
I'm at work. First wedding of the season! H is coming home today. I'm cashing in my "your dealing with him tonight" card because liam was up every 20 min- 1 hour last night. so. Tired.

Waving hi from behind a stack of research papers. My sisters are spending the day with Myles so that I can catch up on grading and my husband can finish putting up the new fence in our backyard. Re: video games. Nope. I would kill or seriously maim my husband at this point. I understand that everyone needs down time. I'm taking a few minutes here. But hours in front of a game while I've been taking care of an infant? Unacceptable. Happy Saturday, friends. Now back to grading APA research papers. Hold me.
wildflower810 I hope you guys figure something out. He cannot continue to ignore you guys and play games. Your child is only this young once. He's missing out.
So I just grabbed an iced coffee from a local shop. I keep getting the same girl who makes totally awesome coffees but she always seems flustered and I feel bad so I tip her decently well. And now I feel like I have to always pay 5 bucks for a coffee that's 2.15. Eeep.
I'm visiting family today. I love sitting around chit-chatting over coffee and snacks all day, but DH can only take so much. So I said we'd run to the store for plates and I surprised him by stopping at an antique store first. Little baby is konked out in her carrier so I'm taking a break here to say hi! Happy weekend!!
zengal surprisingly we don't do a lot of proms. I think because to get hair and makeup at my salon is over $150. The public schools don't, but the private school and the local college we do their ball/gala/whatever they do. (Kind of happy about that- 17-18 year old girls are a bit much lol)
We realized today that it's time to upsize clothes again. Time is flying.
We made a Target shopping run for baby cereal, larger bottles, and more socks and onesies. Can't believe the entire list was for her. LO did well while we were out. Too bad it's been another crummy feeding day. We'll see if she makes it up later tonight.
Hi ladies doing a wave and drive by from the new house!
Hell no on H playing video games, he has a ps 4 and has played it maybe 3 times since November..
We have moved almost everything but it is a disaster, going to take days possibly weeks to get settled plus I still have some small areas of trim to paint as well as the kitchen cabinet doors! We were so tired of living in two places we decided just to move because most of the major stuff is done.
Lo is fighting sleep like crazy tonight and wakes up every time I put him down.
Hope all is well I feel like I'm never going to catch up :-(
We went to watch my nieces play volleyball today (u-13) & they were so good! Lo loved watching everything. I loved seeing my brother & his family.
Edited to add Lo slept like crap last night. He came to bed with us around 1 & tossed & turned & nursed all night. Ugh! We were exhausted this morning!

I'm a day late but here it goes anyways -Ugh! My husband isn't much of a gamer but is huge into target shooting.... He spends so much time figuring out this or that. It drives me crazy! Sometimes I wonder does he love me or his targets more... lol not really... well maybe really . - millm0m, SO scary! that sounds like possible tornado weather! Nothing scares me more than that kind of weather. SO glad you and your family are ok!
-Thank you all for the birthday wishes! it was a pretty good day
