Babies on the brain--Name post

I know we have done this in the past but I always enjoy baby name posts. If you are expecting, what are your top 3 choices for your baby's name? If you don't know what you are having yet, list your top 3  for boy and girl.

If you aren't pregnant but want to play along for future babies, please post yours as well!

We are having a girl and currently our #1 choice is Stella. This will go with big brother subsets: Ruben and Everett. Some other girl names I like:
Hazel
Ariel/Ariella
Adair
Cordelia

I have an Aurielle, so I'm a little biased in favour of those variants I love Hazel Adair, though... I don't feel much about Stella either way... but I really like pretty much everything else on the list... It may be because they sound stronger, to me. Stella sounds very soft. Not like, the person is strong verses soft LOL I mean the pronunciation.

We are stuck between

Jesse Ryan (I am soooo in love with the name Jesse for this baby and DH is not)
James "Jamie" Vincent (my hesitantly offered compromise, our dad's MNs, DH has latched onto it because it's not Jesse)

Unless I miraculously pop out twins, at this point I'm kind of hoping to play the pity-me card after delivery and name him Jesse.

Aww, I like Ariella! Makes me think of the Harvey Danger song, "Happiness Writes White." :-)

Not pregnant and not even trying yet, but DH and I both like Hadley if we have another girl. Holden was the frontrunner if DD had been a boy, so we might use that one if we have a second child who's a boy.

Yaaaasssss baby names thread. Just what I needed during my two week wait. We are not trying, not protecting.

If we have a girl, Marina Penny. NN Marnie. That's been set since before we got married.

I started thinking about boy names yesterday and sent a short list to DH, but he didn't want to play.

I like: Brandon, Gabriel, Elijah, Andrew, Shane, Wyatt, Patrick, Jake, Matthew

DS is Evan.

We are team green due in May. This baby will either be Nora Marianne or Thatcher Jeffrey. Marianne is my late mothers name and Jeffrey is my dads name. DS has DH's dads name as his middle name. Other names I liked but couldn't get DH on board with are Lincoln and Callahan for boys and Annabelle or Johanna.

Not pregnant - we're talking about TFAS starting in May.

Eleanor or Elizabeth for a girl (our grandmothers) and Charles for a boy. We almost named DS Charles, but decided that we couldn't handle being the parents who named our kid Charles Xavier (aka Professor X).

Naming boys is hard! DH and I could agree on names for 5 girls but naming one boy was terrible.

I found more boy names that I loved than girls. Stella is the only girl name so far. If there were another boy (which there won't be since this one is a girl and there is NO more) I could have named it 5 times.

Last time we had a boy name by 7 weeks and went to delivery with a girl name we were eh about. This time we had our girl name early and it took a while for a boy name.

My DS is Everett and I love the name (obviously!). I have yet to meet another one in real life.

Gah I'm so glad this was started. We're team green for our July baby and have nothing we bth love for a girl.

Our boy name is Hunter John. Backup name is Calvin Leo.

Girl names I like Bridget, Claudia, and Joy. Mac has contributed April and Kitty to the list and we're now considering April, Catherine, or Catarina.

We were settled on Camden for a boy but it was just not meant to be.

It took us awhile to agree on a girls name, Sydney, and I'm not sure we both feel 100% about it but we have nothing else that we really even like. DH liked Mackenzie but I can't agree to it.
